The House of Delamain unveils Folio Natura, a rare blend of Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Folle Blanche from Grande Champagne. Aged six years in oak, it delivers a fruit-driven, elegant profile. Inspired by Jacques Delamain’s Livres de Nature, it celebrates nine generations of curiosity, heritage and craftsmanship in Cognac.

In a bold yet deeply authentic gesture, the House of Delamain has introduced Folio Natura, a new Cognac that embodies the family’s enduring spirit of curiosity and reverence for nature. Crafted from a rare blend of three grape varieties sourced exclusively from Grande Champagne, Cognac’s Premier Cru, Folio Natura offers a fresh interpretation of the Delamain style, opening new occasions for enjoyment and inviting connoisseurs into the maison’s universe of savoir-faire.

Ugni Blanc, the backbone of the appellation, provides structure, while Colombard contributes generous fruit and Folle Blanche lends freshness and finesse. Together, they create a distinctive balance that sets Folio Natura apart. Aged for at least six years in 350-litre seasoned oak casks, the eaux-de-vie mature slowly in cellars near the Charente River, reflecting Delamain’s patient and meticulous approach to ageing.

The result is an intensely generous, fruit-driven Cognac built on the aromatic precision of Grande Champagne. The nose opens with white flowers and vine blossoms, unfolding into orchard fruits lifted by bergamot and lemon zest. On the palate, freshness and elegance intertwine, with accents of verbena and lime blossom leading to a long, refined finish.

Folio Natura is more than a new release; it is a celebration of Delamain’s naturalist heritage. Inspired by the Livres de Nature, a natural history collection created in 1930 by Jacques Delamain, the Cognac reflects a legacy shaped by observation, discovery and intellectual curiosity. Today, ninth-generation Cellar Master Charles Braastad continues this tradition, weaving together time, terroir and craftsmanship to create a spirit that resonates with both heritage and modernity.

For over two centuries, Delamain has captivated Cognac lovers worldwide with creations that marry artistry and authenticity. Situated in Jarnac, the House remains dedicated to crafting with curiosity, a philosophy that has guided nine generations since 1824. With Folio Natura, Delamain reaffirms its place as a guardian of tradition and a pioneer of new expressions, offering a Cognac that is as fascinating as the natural world that inspired it.
