NV Group has launched Stainley Gold whisky and Blue Moon Minty Jamun vodka in Delhi, targeting India’s fast-growing mid-premium spirits market. Positioned for aspirational whisky drinkers and younger vodka consumers, the rollout across key states reflects NV Group’s flavour-led innovation strategy and ambition to strengthen its presence in competitive IMFL categories.
NV Group has announced its entry into two of India’s most competitive spirits categories with the launch of Stainley Gold, a premium blended Indian whisky, and Blue Moon Minty Jamun, a flavoured vodka. The move positions the company to capture demand among aspirational whisky consumers and younger adults seeking bold, flavour-led drinking experiences, two of the fastest-growing segments in the market.
India’s whisky market, already one of the largest globally, is projected to reach nearly 280 million cases in 2025, with volumes expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.6% through 2035. Premium and above segments are outpacing the wider category, recording around 7% growth in both volume and value in the first half of 2025. Meanwhile, flavoured vodka continues to gain traction, reflecting evolving consumer preferences. The premium spirits market overall is forecast to grow at 12.2% CAGR between 2026 and 2033, with tier-2 cities such as Indore, Lucknow, Pune and Coimbatore driving much of the momentum, particularly in the mid-premium band priced between ₹500 and 1,200.
Stainley Gold and Blue Moon Minty Jamun are positioned squarely within this high-growth segment. Both products were introduced in Delhi and will be rolled out across Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chandigarh, Goa and Maharashtra, with NV Group targeting presence in at least ten states by FY 2026-27. Stainley Gold, bottled at 42.8% ABV, blends matured imported Scotch malts with Indian grain spirit, offering notes of oak, vanilla and dried fruit. Priced at ₹700 for a 750ml bottle in Delhi, it is also available in smaller formats. Blue Moon Minty Jamun, a rice-based vodka bottled at 37.5% ABV, emphasises jamun’s tartness with a subtle mint finish, designed for shots, highballs and cocktails, priced at ₹600 for a 750ml bottle.
Manufactured at NV Distilleries & Breweries in Rajpura, Punjab, under the supervision of Senior Vice President Ramesh Gaudo, the launches reflect NV Group’s strategy of flavour-led innovation and rapid state-by-state rollout. Varun Jain, CEO & Founder of Smoke Lab, NV Group, said: “The Indian spirits market is evolving rapidly, with consumers increasingly seeking products that combine quality, authenticity and distinctive flavour profiles. Stainley Gold whisky and Blue Moon Minty Jamun flavoured vodka have been developed to meet these changing preferences while strengthening our presence across key segments of the market.”
Founded by industry veteran Ashok Jain, NV Group has built a diverse portfolio across vodka, gin, whisky, rum, brandy and beer, with exports to the USA, UK and UAE. Under Varun Jain’s leadership, the company continues to shape the future of premium Indian spirits through contemporary, design-led brands such as Smoke Lab and Mohulo, reinforcing its philosophy of accessible luxury and modern Indian craftsmanship.
