VIDA, the electric mobility brand powered by Hero, has broadened its portfolio with the introduction of the VIDA EVOOTER VX2 Go FB, a direct-plug charging scooter designed to give riders greater freedom in how they power their journeys. The new model, equipped with a fixed 3.1 kWh battery, complements VIDA’s existing removable-battery variants, underscoring the company’s vision of ‘GHAR GHAR EVOOTER’—bringing tailored electric solutions to every Indian household.
Priced at ₹1,13,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the EVOOTER VX2 Go FB is positioned as a practical yet versatile option for urban commuters. Riders can now choose between the convenience of plugging directly into a standard wall socket or the flexibility of removable batteries, ensuring VIDA caters to diverse consumer needs across India’s rapidly evolving EV landscape.
The VX2 Go FB delivers an IDC-certified range of 128 km, powered by an advanced 6 kW swing-arm motor capable of reaching a top speed of 70 km/h. Everyday usability has been prioritised, with features such as a long, comfortable seat, 27.2 litres of under-seat storage, and a 4.3-inch LCD display offering smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Charging is equally efficient, with DC fast-charging technology enabling the battery to reach 80 per cent capacity in just 65 minutes.
VIDA’s expansion is not limited to product innovation. The company continues to strengthen its ownership ecosystem, with more than 5,900 fast-charging stations and over 700 service touchpoints nationwide. This infrastructure, combined with VIDA’s flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering, ensures customers benefit from both convenience and peace of mind. The VX2 Go FB will be available across authorised dealerships from early August, reinforcing VIDA’s commitment to accessibility and widespread adoption.
The launch of the direct-plug EVOOTER VX2 Go FB reflects a broader industry trend towards offering consumers choice and flexibility in electric mobility. By integrating fixed-battery technology alongside removable options, VIDA is positioning itself as a brand that understands the varied requirements of Indian households, from urban professionals seeking simplicity to families valuing adaptability.
Industry observers note that VIDA’s strategy aligns with Hero MotoCorp’s legacy of democratising mobility in India, now translated into the electric era. The EVOOTER VX2 Go FB is more than a new scooter; it is a statement of intent to make electric mobility mainstream by combining affordability, practicality, and innovation.
As VIDA continues to expand its portfolio and ecosystem, the brand is steadily carving out a distinctive identity in India’s competitive EV market. The EVOOTER VX2 Go FB, with its blend of performance, convenience, and charging flexibility, is set to play a pivotal role in advancing VIDA’s mission of bringing electric mobility to every home.
