Announcing the move via LinkedIn, she expressed excitement about the new chapter following her tenure at Forever New, where she served as Assistant Vice President – Marketing.

Reliance Brands Limited has appointed Niti Uttam to lead marketing for Armani Exchange India, a move that underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its luxury and premium fashion portfolio in the country. Uttam announced her new role through a LinkedIn post, describing it as an exciting new chapter in her professional journey after her successful stint with fashion retailer Forever New.

In her new capacity, Uttam will spearhead integrated marketing initiatives for Armani Exchange India, covering retail, digital, public relations, influencer engagement, customer relationship management, and experiential activations. The appointment reflects Reliance Brands’ focus on building a robust marketing strategy to enhance Armani Exchange’s visibility and resonance with Indian consumers, particularly in the fast-evolving premium fashion segment.

Prior to this, Uttam was Assistant Vice President – Marketing at Forever New Apparels Private Limited, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s marketing direction. Her tenure at Forever New was marked by impactful campaigns and initiatives that strengthened the brand’s positioning in India’s competitive fashion landscape. With extensive experience in brand building and consumer engagement, she is well placed to drive Armani Exchange’s marketing agenda in India.

Reliance Brands Limited, part of Reliance Industries, has consistently expanded its portfolio of international luxury and premium fashion labels in India. The addition of Armani Exchange under Uttam’s leadership is expected to further bolster the company’s presence in the segment, offering Indian consumers access to globally recognised fashion experiences. Uttam’s appointment also highlights the growing importance of integrated marketing strategies that combine traditional and digital platforms to create immersive brand narratives.

Her career trajectory reflects a strong focus on consumer-centric marketing, with expertise spanning retail strategy, digital innovation, influencer collaborations, and experiential activations. As she takes on this new role, industry observers anticipate that her leadership will help Armani Exchange India carve out a distinctive space in the market, appealing to aspirational consumers seeking international fashion with a localised touch.

The move is seen as both a personal milestone for Uttam and a strategic step for Reliance Brands, reinforcing its ambition to be at the forefront of India’s luxury and premium fashion sector.
