VITALIFE TAKES ON ‘MODERN CHAOS’ WITH NEW NATIONAL CAMPAIGN

Gokul Agro Resources Ltd. has unveiled a new national campaign for Vitalife, its flagship edible oil brand, shifting the conversation from product attributes to India’s evolving food habits. Conceptualised by Glassbox, the campaign positions “Modern Chaos” as its real opponent, championing home‑cooked meals through the proposition, “Swaad Swaad Mein Sehat.”

In a bold repositioning of its flagship edible oil brand, Gokul Agro Resources Ltd. has launched a new national campaign for Vitalife that seeks to redefine the category conversation. Moving beyond the traditional battle of competing oils, the campaign identifies its real opponent as “Modern Chaos”: the increasingly hectic lifestyles that have reshaped India’s dietary habits.

Conceptualised by Glassbox, the campaign arrives at a time when the nation’s relationship with food is undergoing profound change. Eating out, ordering in, and convenience‑driven choices have become part of everyday life, often at the expense of home‑cooked meals. The statistics are telling. According to NFHS‑6, 30.7% of Indian women and 27.3% of men are now overweight or obese, a sharp rise from 24% and 22.9% in the previous round. Meanwhile, India’s online food delivery market has surged to an estimated USD 67.9 billion, up from USD 55.6 billion, according to IMARC Group.

Against this backdrop, Vitalife’s campaign seeks to shift focus from product attributes alone to the broader role of home‑cooked food in everyday health. At its heart lies the proposition, “Swaad Swaad Mein Sehat,” a reminder that taste and health can coexist when meals are prepared at home. The campaign’s creative executions bring this idea to life through three films released in Hindi, Gujarati and Bengali. Each film takes familiar dishes that consumers habitually order in and reimagines them within the home kitchen, reinforcing the message that comfort, flavour and wellbeing are best nurtured at home.

The films are designed to resonate across diverse audiences, tapping into cultural nuances while addressing a universal concern: the erosion of traditional eating habits in the face of modern pressures. By framing “Modern Chaos” as the adversary, Vitalife positions itself not merely as an oil brand but as a partner in restoring balance to everyday life.

Industry observers note that this approach reflects a growing trend among food brands to engage with broader lifestyle narratives rather than limiting themselves to functional benefits. In doing so, Vitalife aligns itself with consumer aspirations for healthier living without sacrificing taste or cultural identity.

For Gokul Agro Resources Ltd., the campaign represents a strategic pivot. By championing home‑cooked meals, Vitalife is not only addressing a public health challenge but also reinforcing its relevance in a market increasingly dominated by convenience and delivery platforms. The brand’s message is clear: in an age of fast food and faster lives, the true antidote lies in the kitchen, where health and flavour meet in every dish.

As the films roll out nationally, Vitalife’s campaign is expected to spark conversations about food choices and lifestyle priorities, reminding India that amidst the chaos of modern living, the simple act of cooking at home remains a powerful expression of care, tradition and wellbeing.
