Martist Services Pvt. Ltd. has launched Martist Creative Trails, a new initiative linking hospitality brands with artists and creative practitioners to craft destination-led marketing campaigns. The programme aims to place creativity at the heart of hospitality storytelling, with campaigns shaped by artistic interpretations of places, culture and experiences.

Hospitality marketing has long focused on amenities, luxury and guest experiences, but a new initiative from Martist Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking to shift the spotlight towards something more intangible: the creative spirit of a destination.

The brand marketing firm, which works closely with the experiential sector, has announced the launch of “Martist Creative Trails”, a creative collaboration platform designed for the hospitality and travel industries. Built around the idea that “Every place has a story. Every creative sees it differently,” the initiative aims to connect hospitality brands and destinations with carefully selected creative practitioners to develop campaigns inspired by a location’s unique character.

The concept moves beyond traditional influencer partnerships by positioning artists and creative professionals as contributors to the storytelling process rather than promotional endorsers. Under the framework, a creative collaborator is invited to immerse themselves in a hotel and its surrounding destination, experiencing the environment first-hand before interpreting it through their chosen medium.

That interpretation then becomes the foundation for a campaign’s narrative, visual identity and content direction. Martist will curate the collaboration and oversee the broader campaign structure, ensuring that the creative perspective remains central to the storytelling.

According to the company, the initiative reflects a growing interest in more authentic and culturally rooted forms of destination marketing, where stories emerge organically from places rather than being built solely around hospitality products and services.

Commenting on the launch, Madhulika Joshi, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Martist Services Pvt. Ltd., said the programme was conceived as a way to place creativity at the heart of hospitality communication.

“Hospitality communication often begins with what a property offers. With Creative Trails, we wanted to explore how a place can instead become the inspiration for creativity. The idea is for the creative interpretation to inform the campaign itself,” she said.

The initiative has been designed to accommodate a diverse range of creative voices. Depending on the destination and campaign requirements, collaborators may include artists, photographers, filmmakers, writers, designers, craft practitioners, musicians and chefs, among other creative professionals.

As a result, campaign outputs are expected to vary significantly from one destination to another. Potential formats include social-first content, short films, photography projects, illustrations, editorial storytelling, original artworks, creative maps and curated on-property experiences that extend the narrative beyond digital channels.

At the core of Martist Creative Trails are four guiding pillars: Place, Creative Voice, Story and Experience. Each edition of the programme will be tailored to the individual identity and cultural character of the destination involved, ensuring that no two collaborations follow the same creative path.

Following the launch, Martist has begun exploring pilot collaborations with selected hospitality and destination-led brands. At the same time, the company is developing a curated network of artists and creative practitioners across India who may participate in future editions of the initiative.

As hospitality brands increasingly compete for attention in a crowded market, Martist Creative Trails seeks to offer a fresh approach, one where destinations themselves become the muse and creativity becomes the lens through which travellers discover them.
