JSW Paints has strengthened its marketing team with the appointment of Navendu Srivastava as Marketing Manager. Srivastava announced the move on LinkedIn after spending more than seven years with Asian Paints. His career also includes stints at Coffee Day Beverages and Mahindra & Mahindra.

JSW Paints has appointed Navendu Srivastava as its new Marketing Manager, adding an experienced industry professional to its growing leadership team.

Srivastava shared the news of his appointment through a LinkedIn post, expressing enthusiasm about taking on the new role. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Marketing Manager at JSW Paints!” he wrote, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his professional journey.

The appointment comes after a long tenure at Asian Paints, where Srivastava most recently served as Divisional Service Executive. He spent more than seven years with the company, having joined in January 2019. During this period, he was part of one of India’s largest paint manufacturers, gaining experience in customer service operations and business management within the highly competitive paints sector.

His move to JSW Paints is seen as a significant addition to the company’s marketing function at a time when competition in the decorative paints market continues to intensify. As a relatively young but ambitious player in the industry, JSW Paints has been steadily expanding its footprint across the country and investing in brand-building initiatives to strengthen its market presence.

Srivastava brings with him a diverse professional background that extends beyond the paints industry. Prior to joining Asian Paints, he worked with Coffee Day Beverages, where he gained exposure to the fast-moving consumer goods and beverages segment. His career also includes a stint at Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India’s leading automotive and farm equipment manufacturers. These experiences have provided him with cross-industry insights in customer engagement, operations and business development.

Industry observers note that executives with varied sectoral experience are increasingly valued for their ability to bring fresh perspectives to brand strategy and market expansion. Srivastava’s transition to a dedicated marketing leadership role reflects this trend, as companies seek professionals capable of blending operational expertise with customer-centric marketing approaches.

For JSW Paints, the appointment aligns with its broader efforts to strengthen capabilities across functions as it competes with established players in the market. The company has been focusing on innovation, distribution expansion and brand visibility as it seeks to increase its share in India’s rapidly growing paints industry.

While details about Srivastava’s immediate responsibilities have not been disclosed, his experience across paints, consumer products and manufacturing sectors is expected to support the company’s marketing and growth ambitions.

The move also highlights ongoing talent mobility within India’s paints sector, where companies continue to attract experienced professionals to drive strategic priorities. With his new role at JSW Paints, Srivastava embarks on the next stage of his career, bringing with him a blend of industry knowledge and cross-functional expertise built over years of experience across leading organisations.
