Dentsu India has unveiled the Dentsu Podcast Network (DPN), a dedicated vertical aimed at unlocking the next chapter in branded content and enabling brands to engage audiences through one of India’s most intimate and fastest-growing storytelling formats.

In a country as culturally diverse as India, podcasts are emerging as more than just entertainment—they are a bridge that spans metros and smaller towns, English and vernacular, mainstream and niche. With end-to-end capabilities in production, hosting, distribution, and monetisation, DPN is designed to help brands move beyond awareness to build affinity, trust, and long-term communities across every corner of Bharat.

To drive this vision, dentsu has appointed Aditya Kuber, Agith Kuruvilla, and Ashwin Gangakhedkar as Vice Presidents, reporting to Sahil Shah, CEO, Dentsu Creative Isobar. The trio previously spearheaded Ideabrew Studios, India’s largest podcast network, where they created over 650 shows, collaborated with 120+ creators, and worked with 100+ brands across seven languages, pioneering original podcast IPs including several of India’s fastest-growing regional formats. Their expertise in multilingual content creation, brand integration, and monetisation will now power DPN’s growth, embedded across dentsu’s integrated network spanning media, creative, CXM, and more.

Speaking on the launch, Sahil Shah, CEO, Dentsu Creative Isobar, said: “Podcasts are no longer niche—they are one of the most immersive and authentic ways to connect with audiences across languages. With the Dentsu Podcast Network and the proven expertise of Aditya, Agith, and Ashwin, we are building a future-ready solution that taps into India’s cultural pulse and delivers meaningful brand impact. This is about stories that resonate deeply, travel widely, and perform consistently.”

Adding to this, Aditya, Agith, and Ashwin jointly said: “Podcasting is the next frontier for India’s creators and brands—a medium where stories transform into culture and culture drives connection. In a multilingual country, podcasts offer a powerful, human, and hyper-local way to engage audiences like never before. With dentsu’s global scale and India’s creative energy, we are ready to reimagine how podcasts are created, distributed, and monetised—from vernacular hits to national chart-toppers, from audio intimacy to video innovation. For the first time in India, a podcast network is embedded within a global agency ecosystem, making it a central pillar of modern brand and media strategy.”

Amit Wadhwa, CEO, Dentsu Creative & Media Brands, South Asia, dentsu, added: “With the Dentsu Podcast Network, we are unlocking the next frontier of branded content—where culture, creativity, and commerce converge. This is not just a media launch; it is a bold step towards shaping narratives that travel from the heart of Bharat to audiences across the globe, defining how brands will engage in the decade ahead.”

In the coming months, DPN will roll out original branded series, large-scale creator collaborations, vernacular-first IPs, video podcast formats, and immersive storytelling innovations, ensuring that dentsu clients can harness the full power of India’s linguistic and cultural diversity to stay ahead of the curve.

With this launch, dentsu India cements its leadership at the forefront of cultural marketing, making podcasting an essential, integrated pillar of every smart media mix—one that speaks to the many Indias, in the many languages of Bharat.
