Children’s entertainment brand EMOMEE has appointed Maars Communicates as its strategic communications partner in India, following its Netflix debut. The agency will lead PR, social media and digital marketing, strengthening EMOMEE’s visibility as it expands into streaming, consumer products, licensing and live experiences, while spotlighting its founders’ entrepreneurial journey and global ambitions.
EMOMEE, the fast-growing children’s entertainment brand built around the beloved characters E, Mo and Mee, has appointed Maars Communicates as its strategic communications partner in India. The mandate comes at a pivotal stage in EMOMEE’s growth, following the launch of its first Netflix series Big Skills for Little Ones, Minis, which features 20 curated episodes centred on life skills such as confidence, kindness, curiosity, emotional intelligence, resilience and problem-solving.
Maars Communicates, co-founded by siblings Mausam Shah and Aayush Shah, will lead EMOMEE’s communications and PR strategy, while leveraging its expertise in social media and digital marketing to strengthen the brand’s visibility across business, entertainment, lifestyle, parenting, education and digital media. The agency will work closely with EMOMEE to build its narrative as the brand expands beyond content into consumer products, licensing, live experiences and international markets.
Speaking about the partnership, Mausam Shah, Founder & Director – PR, said, “EMOMEE is an exciting example of how an Indian-origin IP can think globally from day one. We’re delighted to partner with the team to build a strong and differentiated narrative around its growth and global ambitions.” Aayush Shah, Co-Founder & Director – Digital & Business Development, added, “EMOMEE’s unique blend of entertainment, life-skill learning and global ambition makes it a compelling homegrown IP with tremendous potential. We’re excited to bring its story to wider audiences and support its growth across markets and formats.”
Pooja Jauhari, Founder & CEO of EMOMEE, emphasised the importance of communications in the brand’s next phase: “As EMOMEE enters its next phase of growth, communications will play an important role in helping us articulate our vision of building a global children’s franchise from India. Maars Communicates brings strong experience across entertainment, consumer and kids’ brands, and we look forward to working together to tell the EMOMEE story to audiences, partners and the larger ecosystem.”
For Maars Communicates, the mandate further strengthens its portfolio across entertainment, children’s brands, consumer businesses and social-impact-led organisations. With over a decade of experience, the agency has spearheaded communications for MX Player, EPIC Channel, IVM Podcasts and Billboard India, while also managing marquee IPs such as the Lux Golden Rose Awards and Event Capital’s WindMill Festival and PetFed. Its work spans digital-first narratives and social-impact initiatives, including projects with the Aditya Birla Group and Navya Naveli Nanda’s Project Naveli.
The appointment underscores EMOMEE’s ambition to build an Indian-origin children’s IP with global relevance, while reinforcing Maars Communicates’ focus on integrated communications strategies for brands at transformative stages of growth.
