Diageo India has unveiled the Godawan Triple Cask, a travel retail-exclusive single malt expression inspired by Rajasthan’s artisanal heritage. Available at duty free outlets in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Dubai, the whisky embodies craftsmanship, mindful luxury and conscious consumption, priced at INR5,000 (US$54.90).

Diageo India has introduced a new chapter in its premium whisky journey with the launch of Godawan Triple Cask, a travel retail-exclusive expression from its artisanal single malt brand. The unveiling marks a significant step in the brand’s ambition to blend Indian craftsmanship with global luxury, positioning Godawan as a distinctive voice in the world of single malts.

The Godawan Triple Cask is now available at select duty free outlets, including Ospree Duty Free at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Delhi Duty Free at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Bengaluru Duty Free at Kempegowda International Airport, and Dubai Duty Free at Dubai International Airport. By choosing these high-footfall international gateways, Diageo India is clearly targeting discerning travellers who seek exclusivity and authenticity in their purchases.

Crafted at Godawan’s distillery in Alwar, Rajasthan, the Triple Cask draws inspiration from the region’s intricate jaali woodwork, a motif that symbolises both tradition and artistry. This design influence is not merely aesthetic but emblematic of the brand’s ethos: a celebration of heritage translated into contemporary luxury. The whisky itself is matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in a combination of PX sherry, virgin oak and cherry wood casks, creating a layered complexity that reflects its artisanal roots.
