Greater Bank has launched its new brand platform, ‘Do Big Things’, developed by independent agency It’s Friday. The initiative debuts with a nationwide home loan campaign that brings household objects to life, highlighting how greater financial value can help Australians create meaningful experiences, memories and moments at home.
Greater Bank has introduced a new brand platform, ‘Do Big Things’, marking a fresh chapter in its marketing strategy and reinforcing its commitment to helping Australians achieve more in their everyday lives.
Created in partnership with independent creative agency It’s Friday, the platform is built around the belief that greater value from banking services enables customers to focus on what matters most, whether that means purchasing a home, creating lasting memories or pursuing personal ambitions.
The platform makes its debut through an integrated home loan campaign that centres on the idea that a home is defined not simply by bricks and mortar, but by the experiences and relationships that unfold within it. Under the creative concept, “Walls make a house. Life makes a home”, the campaign uses an imaginative storytelling approach to showcase the emotional significance of home ownership.
At the heart of the campaign is a hero film in which everyday household objects are brought to life. These familiar items act as storytellers, sharing the experiences of the people who live around them and reflecting the memories, milestones and moments that transform a house into a home. The work aims to connect with audiences on an emotional level while demonstrating the practical benefits of securing a competitive home loan.
Carrying the message “Bring Your Home to Life”, the campaign highlights how a great-value home loan from Greater Bank can help customers retain more of their money for the things that enrich their lives, from family experiences and personal passions to creating a more comfortable and meaningful living environment.
The launch signals a broader positioning for Greater Bank, with ‘Do Big Things’ serving as a long-term platform intended to extend beyond home lending. Rather than focusing solely on financial products, the initiative seeks to underline the role banking can play in helping customers realise their goals and aspirations.
According to Vince Lagana, Chief Creative Officer at It’s Friday, the campaign was designed to reflect the central place that homes occupy in people’s lives.
“A home is the epicentre of life. It’s where experiences begin and where people return with stories,” he said. “We fill it with things that remind us of where we’ve been and what we’ve done. A great value home loan from Greater Bank helps leave room for all of that life.”
The campaign also aligns closely with Greater Bank’s customer-focused strategy, according to Kate Messenger, Head of Brand and Marketing at NGM Group, the parent organisation of Greater Bank.
“We’re focused on helping our customers get more from their banking, so they can focus on what matters most to them,” Messenger said. “Whatever they’re working towards, we’re here to help them do big things.”
The integrated campaign will be rolled out across a wide range of channels, including broadcast television, online video, out-of-home advertising, radio, audio platforms, digital media and social channels, ensuring broad reach as Greater Bank introduces its new brand proposition to audiences across Australia.
