HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced a two-year initiative to accelerate Agentic AI adoption in Dubai’s private sector. With training, incubators, and dedicated funds, the programme aims to boost productivity, expand business volumes, and establish Dubai as a global leader in AI transformation.

HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, has unveiled a landmark initiative to accelerate the adoption of Agentic AI across Dubai’s private sector. The two-year programme, launched under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is designed to embed advanced AI technologies into the city’s economic framework, reinforcing Dubai’s ambition to be a global leader in innovation.

The initiative introduces specialised training tracks for business councils affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These tracks are intended to equip business leaders and professionals with the skills required to integrate Agentic AI into their operations, enabling companies to enhance productivity, streamline decision-making, and unlock new growth opportunities. By focusing on practical applications, the programme ensures that AI adoption is not confined to theory but becomes a tangible driver of transformation across industries.

In addition to training, the programme will establish incubators dedicated to nurturing Agentic AI companies. These incubators will serve as hubs of innovation, providing start-ups and emerging enterprises with the resources, mentorship, and collaborative environment needed to scale their ideas. This ecosystem approach reflects Dubai’s broader strategy of fostering entrepreneurship and positioning itself as a magnet for global talent in the AI sector.

To further accelerate adoption, dedicated funds will be allocated to support businesses transitioning to AI-driven models. This financial backing is designed to ease the shift for companies of varying sizes, ensuring that the benefits of Agentic AI are widely distributed across the private sector. By lowering barriers to entry, Dubai aims to encourage experimentation and innovation, creating a fertile ground for AI-powered solutions that can expand business volumes and enhance competitiveness.

The announcement underscores Dubai’s strategic vision of integrating cutting-edge technologies into its economic and social fabric. With Agentic AI poised to redefine workflows, customer engagement, and business models, the programme is expected to catalyse a new era of transformation. Sheikh Hamdan’s leadership signals a clear commitment to future-ready growth, positioning Dubai at the forefront of global AI adoption.
