ORANGE LINE WINS ASHLEY & MARTIN MANDATE AS AI RESHAPES SEARCH MARKETING

Consulting-led digital marketing agency Orange Line has secured the SEO and AI visibility mandate for Ashley & Martin across Australia and New Zealand. The partnership reflects the growing importance of AI-driven discoverability, technical SEO and content strategy as brands adapt to rapidly evolving online search behaviour.

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the way consumers discover brands online, consulting-led digital marketing agency Orange Line has secured a significant new mandate with hair loss treatment provider Ashley & Martin following a competitive pitch process.

The appointment will see Orange Line lead a comprehensive SEO, outreach and AI visibility programme for Ashley & Martin across both Australia and New Zealand, reinforcing the increasing importance businesses are placing on digital discoverability in an AI-driven search environment.

Under the agreement, Orange Line will oversee a broad range of strategic initiatives including technical SEO, category page and content optimisation, local SEO, link building, journalistic outreach and large language model optimisation. The programme is designed to strengthen Ashley & Martin’s organic visibility while adapting the brand to a rapidly changing digital ecosystem increasingly influenced by AI-powered search and recommendation systems.

Founded in 1964, Ashley & Martin has long been recognised as one of the region’s leading hair loss treatment providers. The company now faces a new generation of digital competition as search behaviour evolves beyond traditional search engines into conversational AI and machine learning-driven discovery platforms.

David Klein, Founder of Orange Line, said the partnership presented a compelling opportunity to translate strong brand recognition into measurable market growth. He noted that the work ahead would focus on structural digital transformation rather than surface-level optimisation.

“The data on Ashley & Martin is genuinely compelling, a brand that’s been operating since 1964, a domain that’s gaining market share, and a search landscape that’s shifting faster than most teams can keep up with,” Klein said. “The work is structural, not superficial, and we will build an integrated programme that converts strong brand recognition into organic market share.”

Ashley & Martin’s Head of Marketing, Bianca Baum, said the agency stood out for its understanding of the brand and its readiness to navigate the increasingly complex AI-influenced search landscape.

“The SEO landscape has changed significantly, and we needed a partner who is adept and up to date in the ever-changing AI landscape,” Baum said. “I am confident Orange Line will deliver exactly that.”

The appointment also highlights the growing convergence between traditional SEO practices and emerging AI discoverability strategies. As brands compete not only for search rankings but also for visibility within AI-generated responses and recommendation systems, agencies are being forced to rethink how content is structured, surfaced and trusted online.

Orange Line brings experience from campaigns with high-growth brands including Skyscanner, Udacity, Meshki and Fantastic Furniture, building a reputation for integrating conventional search optimisation with emerging AI-focused strategies.

The partnership signals a wider shift within the marketing industry, where visibility is no longer determined solely by search engine rankings, but increasingly by how effectively brands can position themselves within AI-powered digital ecosystems.
