RASHI SINGH NAMED MARKETING DIRECTOR AT SUNTORY GLOBAL SPIRITS INDIA

Rashi Singh has been appointed Marketing Director at Suntory Global Spirits India. She steps into the role after leading whisky category marketing at Beam Suntory and earlier holding senior positions at Pernod Ricard, Airtel and Daimler AG. Her diverse experience spans brand strategy, category management and customer-focused marketing across sectors.  

Rashi Singh has taken on the role of Marketing Director at Suntory Global Spirits India, marking a significant career milestone in her journey through diverse industries. The appointment was announced by Singh herself on LinkedIn, underscoring her transition from Beam Suntory, where she served as Category Lead for whisky and drove category-led marketing initiatives.  

Her career trajectory reflects a blend of global and Indian brand experience. At Pernod Ricard, Singh held multiple roles including Brand Lead for Jacob’s Creek and Zonal Marketing Head (West), where she steered campaigns that strengthened consumer engagement in the premium wines and spirits segment. Prior to that, she worked with Airtel as a product manager, overseeing broadband marketing, campaign planning and revenue-focused initiatives that sharpened the telecom giant’s competitive edge.  

Singh also spent time at Daimler AG, contributing to retail excellence and customer experience projects within the automotive sector. This early exposure to customer-centric strategies in a highly competitive industry laid the foundation for her later work in brand building and category management.  

Her portfolio now spans telecommunications, automotive and alcoholic beverages, reflecting a career built on adaptability and cross-sector expertise. With nearly two decades of experience, Singh has consistently demonstrated an ability to align brand strategy with consumer behaviour, delivering marketing initiatives that balance creativity with measurable impact.  

At Suntory Global Spirits India, Singh’s appointment comes at a time when the company is sharpening its focus on premiumisation and expanding its footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing spirits markets. Her leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping category strategies, driving innovation and strengthening consumer connections in India’s evolving beverage landscape.  

Singh’s journey illustrates the growing importance of versatile marketing leaders who can navigate diverse industries while maintaining a sharp focus on customer experience. As she steps into her new role, her blend of global exposure and local market expertise positions her to contribute meaningfully to Suntory’s ambitions in India.
