Sujata Appliances Appoints Akshaya Vasishth as Chief Marketing Officer to Spearhead Growth Across Appliance Portfolio

Sujata Appliances has named Akshaya Vasishth as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for its Appliances Division, signaling a strategic move to accelerate growth and innovation across its expanding product range.

In his new role, Vasishth will lead the marketing efforts for Sujata’s flagship mixer-grinder portfolio, while also driving brand strategy and consumer engagement for its recently launched line of premium small domestic appliances—including hand blenders, breakfast solutions, and irons.

Backed by over 18 years of global FMCG experience, Vasishth brings with him a strong legacy of brand building, innovation leadership, and digital-first thinking. His diverse background spans senior marketing and business roles at industry leaders such as Sun Pharma, AbbVie APAC, Himalaya Wellness, Hamdard Foods, and Mahindra & Mahindra. He also founded the digital health platform GCC+, blending his expertise across healthcare, wellness, and consumer products.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, Vasishth is expected to play a key role in steering Sujata’s next phase of brand evolution—bridging legacy, modernity, and lifestyle aspirations in the Indian kitchen and home appliance space.
