Jude Jayaprekash, Executive Creative Director at Magic Mango Group, has been appointed to the Dragons of Asia 2026 International Judging Panel. With a career spanning journalism, advertising, film, and music, he continues to champion creativity that delivers measurable impact, brand-led storytelling, and culturally resonant campaigns across diverse platforms.

Jude Jayaprekash’s appointment to the Dragons of Asia 2026 International Judging Panel marks a significant milestone in a career defined by storytelling, creativity, and impact. Currently Executive Creative Director at Magic Mango Group, Jayaprekash has consistently championed the belief that creativity is most powerful when it drives real results, a philosophy that has guided his journey across journalism, advertising, and film.

His professional path began in the newsroom, where he worked as Sports Editor at Express Newspapers. The transition into advertising was a natural extension of his passion for writing, and at Phoenix Ogilvy he embraced the craft of copywriting, creating memorable campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola, GSK, Dialog, and Hemas. This early work laid the foundation for a career that would see him rise through the creative ranks, eventually becoming Creative Director at MullenLowe Sri Lanka.

As Associate Vice President and Group Creative Director at MullenLowe, Jayaprekash led multidisciplinary teams in building brands and campaigns from the ground up. His leadership helped shape communications for some of Sri Lanka’s largest corporate clients, including Unilever, Elephant House, Edinborough, DFCC, Softlogic, and Eva. His approach combined strategic insight with creative flair, ensuring that campaigns resonated with audiences while delivering tangible business outcomes.

Beyond advertising, Jayaprekash has expanded his creative scope into directing commercials and music videos, and he is currently involved in producing Tamil and Sinhala language feature films. This diversification reflects his commitment to exploring storytelling across mediums, bringing cultural relevance and emotional resonance to every project.

At Magic Mango Group, Jayaprekash continues to drive impactful ideas and brand-led narratives, blending creativity with cultural insight. His appointment to the Dragons of Asia 2026 International Judging Panel is both recognition of his achievements and an opportunity to influence the next generation of creative work across the region. For Jayaprekash, the panel represents a platform to celebrate campaigns that prove creativity’s true power lies in delivering results, a principle he has embodied throughout his career.
