Ogilvy India and Fevicol have released ‘Kursi Pe Nazar’, the final Fevicol script penned by Piyush Pandey. Directed by Prasoon Pandey, the film is a heartfelt tribute to the legendary adman whose work with Fevicol redefined Indian advertising and created enduring cultural touchpoints across generations.

Fevicol’s latest film, ‘Kursi Pe Nazar’ (Eyeing the Chair), carries a weight far beyond its narrative. It is the last Fevicol script written by Piyush Pandey, the creative giant whose campaigns for the brand became synonymous with Indian advertising excellence. For decades, Pandey’s work transformed Fevicol from a functional adhesive into a cultural icon, embedding humour, relatability, and storytelling into the brand’s DNA.

From the unforgettable “Fevicol ka jod” to countless witty depictions of everyday life, Pandey’s campaigns elevated Fevicol into a household name, celebrated not just for its product strength but for its creative resonance. His ability to capture the quirks of Indian society and translate them into memorable advertising made Fevicol a brand that transcended its category, becoming part of the nation’s collective memory.

‘Kursi Pe Nazar’, directed by Prasoon Pandey, is imbued with love and pride. It is presented by Ogilvy India and Fevicol as a tribute to Piyush Pandey’s legacy, with hearts full of memories of the man who shaped the brand’s voice. The film is not merely another campaign; it is a farewell crafted with reverence, honouring the creative spirit that defined Pandey’s career.

The collaboration between Piyush and Prasoon Pandey has long been celebrated in the industry, with both brothers contributing to some of India’s most iconic advertising moments. This final script, brought to life by Prasoon’s direction, reflects the deep bond between the brand and its creative custodians. It is a reminder of how advertising, when done with authenticity and insight, can become art that endures.

For Fevicol, the film is a continuation of its storytelling tradition, but also a moment of reflection. It acknowledges the man who gave the brand its voice, humour, and cultural relevance. For the advertising fraternity, it is a poignant milestone—marking the end of an era defined by Piyush Pandey’s unmatched ability to blend creativity with human truth.

As audiences watch ‘Kursi Pe Nazar’, they are invited not only to enjoy the wit and charm of Fevicol’s storytelling but also to remember the legacy of the man behind it. Piyush Pandey’s final script is more than a campaign; it is a celebration of a lifetime of creativity, a farewell that honours his contribution to Indian advertising, and a reminder of how one brand, one man, and one vision can leave an indelible mark on culture.
