JioStar has unveiled its latest campaign, Humara Long Distance Love, for the 2026/27 Premier League season, capturing the unique passion of Indian fans who follow their favourite clubs from afar. Featuring Bollywood star Tiger Shroff alongside cricketers Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag, the campaign explores the emotional highs and lows of supporting a team thousands of kilometres away.

The three films at the heart of the campaign spotlight the rituals and realities of fandom in India: late-night vigils to catch live matches, heartbreaks endured when results don’t go a fan’s way, and the camaraderie of group chats that keep supporters connected. Each narrative underscores the unwavering loyalty of Indian audiences, who have long embraced the Premier League as part of their sporting identity despite the geographical distance.

By casting Shroff, Samson and Parag, JioStar bridges the worlds of cinema and cricket with football, reflecting the cross-cultural appeal of the Premier League in India. Their presence adds relatability and star power, ensuring the campaign resonates with both seasoned fans and newer audiences discovering the league.

The timing of the campaign coincides with the Premier League’s return to Indian screens from 22 August, live on JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network. With the league’s popularity continuing to surge, JioStar’s creative push aims to deepen engagement and highlight the emotional investment of fans who often sacrifice sleep and routine to stay connected with their clubs.

The films also serve as a reminder of how football transcends borders, uniting people through shared experiences of joy, despair and loyalty. For Indian fans, the Premier League is not just a foreign competition but a cultural phenomenon that has become woven into their sporting lives. JioStar’s campaign captures this sentiment with authenticity, celebrating the resilience of supporters who maintain their devotion across time zones and continents.

As the new season approaches, Humara Long Distance Love positions JioStar as more than just a broadcaster. It becomes a storyteller of fandom, amplifying the voices of millions who live the Premier League dream from afar. By blending cinematic flair with relatable narratives, the campaign underscores the enduring bond between Indian audiences and the world’s most-watched football league.
