Bowmore has unveiled the Captivo Collection, debuting Oak Voyage and Sherry Cask Pursuit, two single malts that balance citrus, sweetness and smoky notes while showcasing the influence of oak casks. Designed in collaboration with Snarkitecture, the collection highlights individuality and heritage, with releases priced from £312 and available globally from August.

Bowmore has launched its latest innovation in single malt whisky, the Captivo Collection, a pairing of artistry and craftsmanship that underscores the distillery’s heritage while embracing modern design. The collection introduces two distinctive expressions—Oak Voyage and Sherry Cask Pursuit—each crafted to highlight the profound influence of cask selection on flavour and character.

Oak Voyage, bottled at 50.8% ABV, is priced at $360 USD (£312 GBP / €360 RSP), while Sherry Cask Pursuit, bottled at 51.8% ABV, is offered at $380 USD (£320 GBP RSP). Both whiskies are available from today via Bowmore.com in the UK and internationally, marking the beginning of a global rollout that will see Oak Voyage stocked at Harrods from 1st September before reaching markets in the US, Asia, Northern Europe and Canada. Sherry Cask Pursuit will follow later this year in select global travel retail outlets.

The Captivo Collection is defined by its balance of citrus brightness, layered sweetness and delicate smoky undertones, each expression shaped by the unique properties of its respective cask. Oak Voyage delivers richness and depth, while Sherry Cask Pursuit offers smooth sweetness, both demonstrating the remarkable impact of time and wood on Bowmore’s spirit.

To bring this sense of discovery to life visually, Bowmore partnered with Snarkitecture, the New York-based design practice renowned for its conceptual approach to architecture and art. Snarkitecture has created designs that capture the individuality of each whisky, translating flavour into form while remaining faithful to Bowmore’s legacy. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation and storytelling, with packaging that embodies both tradition and modernity.

Bowmore’s heritage as one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries is woven into the Captivo Collection, yet the release also signals a forward-looking ambition. By combining meticulous whisky-making with contemporary design, Bowmore seeks to engage collectors and enthusiasts who value both rarity and artistry. The collection’s limited availability and premium positioning reinforce its appeal to discerning consumers across global markets.

The launch of Oak Voyage and Sherry Cask Pursuit continues Bowmore’s tradition of crafting whiskies that are both complex and approachable, offering drinkers an opportunity to explore the nuances of cask influence in a tangible way. With Snarkitecture’s designs adding a layer of visual intrigue, the Captivo Collection stands as a testament to Bowmore’s ability to blend heritage with innovation, creating experiences that resonate beyond the glass.
