The Face Shop and Palmonas have joined forces for Raksha Bandhan with ‘A Bond That Glows Forever’, a campaign blending Korean skincare and contemporary jewellery. Through reciprocal gifting offers and a heartfelt film on sibling bonds, the collaboration targets young Indian consumers seeking value, utility and emotional resonance in festive gifts.
Festivals in India have long been defined by rituals, sweets and symbolic exchanges, but the modern consumer is reshaping the narrative. This Raksha Bandhan, Korean skincare brand The Face Shop and contemporary jewellery label Palmonas have unveiled a collaboration that speaks directly to this shift. Their initiative, titled ‘A Bond That Glows Forever’, is a celebration of sibling ties expressed through gifts that combine self-care with style.
The campaign, launched on 20 August 2026, offers a reciprocal gifting model designed to appeal to younger shoppers. Customers spending Rs 3,000 or more on The Face Shop’s website will receive Palmonas jewellery of equal value, while those shopping on Palmonas’ platform will be rewarded with skincare products worth Rs 3,000. Available until Raksha Bandhan, the offer is positioned as both practical and indulgent, a blend of value and sentiment that reflects evolving consumer preferences.
Central to the campaign is a short festive film that captures the everyday rhythm of sibling relationships. Playful disagreements, teasing exchanges and moments of quiet understanding unfold on screen, culminating in the symbolic Rakhi exchange. The narrative reinforces the campaign’s message: that sibling bonds, though imperfect, glow with enduring affection.
For The Face Shop, the collaboration marks a step beyond its core skincare proposition. “At The Face Shop, we see skincare as an expression of care, and Rakhi gives us an opportunity to translate that thought into a more meaningful gifting experience,” said Aashriya Sharma, Head of Marketing. “Our partnership with Palmonas brings together two complementary categories: Korean skincare and contemporary jewellery to create a proposition that is both useful and memorable. With ‘A Bond That Glows Forever’, we wanted to capture the wonderfully imperfect sibling relationship and turn that emotion into a tangible gifting experience.”
The initiative reflects a broader trend in festive gifting, where consumers are increasingly drawn to options that combine utility with emotional significance. By merging skincare and jewellery, the campaign offers a fresh alternative to traditional categories, positioning itself as a lifestyle choice rather than a seasonal indulgence.
The Face Shop and Palmonas are betting on the idea that gifts should not only symbolise affection but also serve as lasting reminders of care and connection. In doing so, they have crafted a campaign that resonates with the modern Indian shopper, one who values both sentiment and substance.
