GRAVOX CELEBRATES EVERYDAY RITUALS WITH NEW COMFORT-DRIVEN CAMPAIGN

Kraft Heinz has unveiled a new masterbrand campaign for Gravox, created by TBWA\Melbourne, positioning the iconic gravy brand as the ultimate comfort companion. Titled ‘For Creatures of Comfort’, the playful work highlights everyday rituals, showing how Gravox transforms simple meals into comforting moments, extending its nostalgic appeal beyond Sunday roasts.

For generations, Gravox has been a fixture of Australian dining tables, synonymous with family roasts, celebratory gatherings and the warmth of shared meals. Now, Kraft Heinz is reintroducing the brand to modern audiences with a new masterbrand campaign that doubles down on its role as the ultimate comfort companion. Developed by TBWA\Melbourne, ‘For Creatures of Comfort’ builds on Gravox’s heritage while expanding its relevance to everyday occasions.

The campaign is inspired by the insight that people, much like animals, have instinctive rituals that bring them comfort. Gravox is positioned as the finishing touch to those rituals, elevating even the simplest mid-week meals into moments of satisfaction. Playful creative executions featuring caterpillars, wombats and sloths bring this idea to life, reflecting the diverse ways Australians enjoy food. From young families sharing chicken and gravy rolls after sport, to campers savouring bangers and mash, and housemates unwinding over hot chips and gravy, Gravox is presented as the flavour that makes these moments feel complete.

This latest work builds on the ‘Tastes Like Comfort’ platform launched last year, which introduced Gravox’s ‘Best Ever’ range. That expansion saw the brand move into new meal occasions with flavours inspired by Swedish Meatballs, Canadian Poutine and Southern Fried Chicken. The new campaign takes the idea further, cementing Gravox’s place at the heart of comforting meals any day of the week, not just Sunday evenings.

Andrea Payne, head of taste elevation at Kraft Heinz, emphasised Gravox’s enduring role in Australian households. “Gravox has always held a special place on Australian tables, bringing flavour and warmth to the meals people love. With ‘For Creatures of Comfort’, we’re celebrating the rituals that make mealtime feel good, while showing how Gravox can help turn even the simplest mid-week meal into a moment of comfort.”

Harrison Webster, group creative director at TBWA\Melbourne, added that the campaign is rooted in a universal truth. “The strongest ideas are often rooted in simple, human truths. For Gravox, that truth is comfort. The small rituals people return to when they want a meal to feel more satisfying. This campaign brings that instinct to life in a simple and playful way, showing how adding Gravox to mealtime can make everyday moments that little bit more comforting.”

The campaign will roll out across television, out-of-home, social and digital channels, with media managed by Dentsu. By blending nostalgia with contemporary storytelling, Gravox aims to reaffirm its place as a beloved staple, reminding Australians that comfort is not reserved for special occasions—it can be savoured every day.
