ARJUN BHASIN JOINS THE BODY SHOP AS VICE PRESIDENT – SOUTH ASIA

Arjun Bhasin has been appointed Vice President – South Asia at The Body Shop, where he will lead retail operations, customer experience, and learning initiatives across the region. With decades of leadership in beauty, personal care, and retail, he is poised to drive the brand’s next phase of growth.

The Body Shop has announced the appointment of Arjun Bhasin as Vice President – South Asia, marking a significant leadership move for the global beauty and personal care brand. In this strategic role, Bhasin will oversee the retail business, customer experience, and learning and development initiatives across South Asian markets, while also managing the South Asia portfolio for specialty partner Quest Retail Private Limited.  

Bhasin brings with him a wealth of experience in retail and consumer businesses, having most recently served as Founder and Principal at Step Wise Advisory, where he mentored organisations on business strategy, expansion, franchising, and transformational growth. His advisory work helped several companies strengthen their operational frameworks and achieve sustainable expansion.  

Prior to this, Bhasin built a distinguished career at Kaya Limited, where he rose through leadership roles including Associate Vice President – Sales Operations, Expansion Lead, and Franchise Lead. During his tenure, he delivered several industry-first achievements in retail growth and business transformation, cementing his reputation as a leader capable of driving innovation and scale.  

Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Lakme Lever (Unilever), Future Group, and Planet Sports, gaining extensive expertise in retail operations, customer experience, franchise management, business expansion, talent development, and operational excellence. This diverse background across beauty, personal care, and retail sectors has equipped him with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics in South Asia.  

The Body Shop’s decision to appoint Bhasin underscores its commitment to strengthening its leadership team in the region and accelerating growth. His appointment comes at a time when the brand is focused on enhancing customer engagement, expanding retail presence, and driving sustainable business practices. With decades of leadership experience and a proven track record in building businesses, Bhasin is well-positioned to lead The Body Shop’s next chapter of growth across South Asia.
