Sydney will host The One Club and Google’s global AI Creative Challenge on 19 November, part of a 16‑city esports‑style tournament. 128 AI creators will compete in timed sprints for $50,000 and the title of AI Creative Champion, with winners advancing to the grand finale in New York in February 2027.

Sydney will take centre stage on 19 November as The One Club for Creativity and Google bring their first global One Club AI Creative Challenge to the city, part of a 16‑city esports‑style tournament showcasing the world’s top AI creators.

The competition, which began in May during The One Club’s Creative Week 2026 and continued at Google Creative House in Cannes in June, now expands worldwide with a bracketed format. A total of 128 AI experts will compete in timed 10‑minute sprints, racing to fulfil secret briefs using generative AI. Each city crowns a champion, who advances through quarterfinals and semifinals to the grand finale in New York on 18 February 2027.

Events are free to attend and open to the public, transforming human creativity and AI into a spectator sport where speed, technical skill and imaginative flair are tested under pressure. Participants will vie for $50,000 in prize money and the coveted title of AI Creative Champion.

The Sydney leg, hosted by Entropico, joins a global roster that includes Los Angeles, Toronto, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Istanbul, London, Lisbon, Mexico City, São Paulo, Mumbai and Tokyo. Each event is judged by leading creatives, scoring competitors on prompt mastery, execution and originality.

Kevin Swanepoel, CEO of The One Club for Creativity, said: “The AI Creative Challenge celebrates what happens when human imagination meets the latest AI technology. This isn’t about replacing creativity. It’s about showcasing the next generation of creative talent, pushing boundaries, and giving creatives around the world a global stage to compete, learn, and inspire one another.”
