De Beers Group’s ‘Love, From Bestie’ campaign brought natural diamonds into Friendship Day celebrations across India on 1–2 August 2026. With in-store experiences, celebrity duos and the Bestie Bracelet Collection, the initiative drew over 2,000 visitors, achieving a 15% conversion rate across 60 partner stores nationwide.

De Beers Group has unveiled a sparkling new chapter in its India story with the launch of ‘Love, From Bestie’, a campaign designed to entwine natural diamonds with the joy of friendship. Timed to coincide with Friendship Day weekend on 1 and 2 August 2026, the initiative unfolded across 60 participating retail partner stores nationwide, transforming the occasion into a celebration of bonds that shine as brightly as the stones themselves.

The activation drew more than 2,000 visitors, with De Beers reporting a 15% conversion rate across participating outlets. Customers were invited to immerse themselves in experiences that went beyond traditional retail. Professionally shot friendship portraits, personalised nail art, custom bag charms and playful “BFF Contracts” created an atmosphere of fun and intimacy, positioning diamonds not merely as luxury purchases but as tokens of shared memories.

At the heart of the campaign was the Bestie Bracelet Collection, a concept built around the idea of gifting one bracelet to oneself and another to a friend. This duality captured the essence of friendship — self-expression paired with the joy of giving. To bring the idea to life, De Beers enlisted celebrity duos whose own friendships resonate with audiences. Sara Tendulkar and Banita Sandhu, Mallika Dua and Shweta Tripathi, and Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami lent authenticity to the campaign, appearing in social content that revealed insider moments, personal milestones and the support systems that sustain their bonds.

Through these narratives, the campaign underscored the emotional depth behind the jewellery. The celebrities spoke candidly about the quirks and milestones that define their friendships, offering audiences a glimpse into relationships that are both aspirational and relatable. By weaving these stories into its marketing, De Beers positioned natural diamonds as symbols not only of romance but of enduring companionship.

The initiative reflects a broader shift in India’s jewellery market, where brands are increasingly aligning themselves with contemporary cultural moments. Friendship Day, once dominated by casual tokens, is being reimagined as an occasion worthy of fine jewellery. De Beers’ campaign suggests that diamonds can embody the sparkle of friendship just as powerfully as they have long symbolised love.

With ‘Love, From Bestie’, De Beers has crafted a campaign that blends retail innovation with emotional resonance. By celebrating friendship through experiences, storytelling and design, the brand has expanded the cultural canvas for diamonds in India, ensuring that the bonds of companionship are marked with brilliance as enduring as the gems themselves.
