Edge Marketing has promoted Ben Svikss to Operations Director, a newly created role aimed at strengthening operational leadership. With a decade of experience at EDGE, Svikss will streamline collaboration and efficiency across teams, supporting the agency’s growth ambitions. His appointment marks the first in a series of strategic leadership moves.
Independent agency Edge Marketing (EDGE) has promoted long-serving executive Ben Svikss to the newly created role of Operations Director, underscoring its commitment to building stronger operational foundations to support growth and client success.
In his new position, Svikss will oversee the systems, processes and frameworks that underpin EDGE’s performance marketing, SEO, web development, creative and video production teams. His remit is to streamline collaboration, reduce operational friction and ensure consistently high-quality delivery as the agency scales.
The creation of the role signals EDGE’s investment in infrastructure designed to evolve alongside client needs. By strengthening operational leadership, the agency aims to respond more effectively to complex briefs, improve cross-disciplinary collaboration and deliver work with greater efficiency.
Svikss, who has spent the past decade at EDGE, brings extensive cross-functional experience, having previously led teams across design, paid media and SEO. His deep understanding of the agency’s workflows positions him to drive efficiency and enhance collaboration across disciplines.
CEO Rohan Dwyer described the appointment as a step towards building a business designed for long-term success rather than short-term gains. “Every business reaches a point where future growth depends less on working harder and more on building a business that’s designed to perform consistently and evolve with the changing landscape,” he said. “Ben understands every part of our business and has a unique ability to bring people, process and technology together. His appointment is an important step in that journey.”
Svikss said the role offered an opportunity to build on strong foundations while ensuring EDGE continues to evolve with client needs. “My focus is on creating an environment where our specialists can do their best work, collaboration happens naturally and our clients experience a seamless, consistently high standard of delivery,” he explained. “As EDGE grows, strong operational foundations will be critical to scaling without compromising the quality or agility our clients value.”
His promotion marks the first in a series of strategic leadership appointments EDGE plans to announce in the coming weeks, reinforcing its ambition to build a more scalable, collaborative and high-performing agency.
