Bastion, Geely Auto and Amazon Ads ANZ have launched Australia’s first virtual showroom for the Geely EX2 on Amazon. Customers can explore features, request test drives and connect with dealerships, while Prime Video Interactive Ads drive awareness and engagement, blending automotive retail with digital innovation in a pioneering campaign.

In a landmark collaboration, Bastion has partnered with Geely Auto and Amazon Ads ANZ to unveil an Australian-first initiative promoting the new Geely EX2 through an immersive virtual showroom hosted on Amazon. The campaign marks a significant step in blending automotive retail with digital innovation, offering customers a seamless way to explore, engage and act online.

The virtual showroom allows prospective buyers to discover the Geely EX2’s features directly within the Amazon Store. Customers can access state-based pricing, request test drives, and connect instantly with their nearest Geely dealership, creating a streamlined path from digital browsing to real-world experience. By embedding these functions into Amazon’s ecosystem, the campaign ensures that the EX2 is discoverable where consumers already spend much of their time.

The initiative also harnesses Prime Video Interactive Ads, enabling Geely to drive awareness and action within a premium streaming environment. This integration allows viewers to interact with advertising content in real time, bridging entertainment and commerce in a way that reflects shifting consumer behaviour. The collaboration underscores a growing trend in the automotive sector: meeting audiences in digital spaces that are part of their everyday lives.

For Geely Auto, the campaign represents a bold entry into the Australian market, positioning the EX2 as a forward-looking model aligned with modern retail expectations. For Amazon Ads ANZ, it demonstrates the versatility of its advertising suite, showcasing how interactive formats can deliver measurable engagement while enhancing customer experience. Bastion’s role in orchestrating the partnership highlights the agency’s commitment to pioneering new pathways for brand discovery.

By combining immersive retail technology with interactive streaming, the Geely EX2 launch sets a precedent for how automotive brands can leverage digital platforms to connect with consumers. It is a campaign that not only promotes a new vehicle but also redefines the way cars are marketed and sold in Australia.
