ITALICUS MARKS A DECADE WITH LIMITED-EDITION DECIMO

ITALICUS celebrates its 10th anniversary with the launch of DECIMO, a limited-edition bottle restricted to 10,000 pieces worldwide. Featuring ten bergamot roundels and a ceramic-inspired finish honouring the Amalfi Coast, the milestone is accompanied by Rosolio Day, ITALICUS Weeks across six countries and a global aperitivo challenge in London.

For ten years, ITALICUS has reimagined a forgotten tradition, breathing new life into the Rosolio category and bringing it into the modern day. What began as a bold revival of an almost-lost Italian liqueur has now become a global success story, one that continues to inspire bartenders, consumers and the wider drinks industry. Francesco Ottaviano, Vice President Global Marketing Gin & Apéritif at Pernod Ricard, describes the journey as a decade of innovation and cultural rediscovery, positioning ITALICUS as a brand that bridges heritage with contemporary enjoyment.

To mark this significant milestone, ITALICUS has unveiled DECIMO, a striking limited-edition bottle that encapsulates both the brand’s past and its forward-looking spirit. Only 10,000 pieces have been produced worldwide, each adorned with ten bergamot roundels circling the glass—one for every year of ITALICUS’s journey. The design pays homage to the Amalfi Coast, whose landscapes and traditions inspired the aquamarine hue of the original ITALICUS bottle. With its ceramic-inspired finish, DECIMO is not merely packaging but a collector’s piece, symbolising the artistry and authenticity that define the brand.

The anniversary celebrations extend far beyond the bottle. Rosolio Day, a dedicated occasion to honour the liqueur’s heritage, kicks off the festivities, followed by ITALICUS Weeks across bars in six countries. These events invite consumers to rediscover the aperitivo ritual through curated experiences, cocktails and storytelling, reinforcing ITALICUS’s role as a cultural ambassador for Italian conviviality. The celebrations culminate in London with the Art of ITALICUS Aperitivo Challenge Global Final, where bartenders from around the world showcase their creativity and mastery, further cementing the brand’s influence in shaping modern aperitivo culture.

Available now in Italy, the UK, France, Spain, the US and New Zealand, DECIMO represents more than a commemorative release. It is a statement of intent, signalling ITALICUS’s ambition to continue expanding its reach while remaining rooted in authenticity. The limited-edition bottle is expected to resonate strongly with collectors, enthusiasts and those who value the intersection of tradition and design.

As ITALICUS enters its second decade, the brand’s trajectory reflects broader trends in the drinks industry, where heritage spirits are being rediscovered and reinterpreted for contemporary audiences. By reviving Rosolio and positioning it within the global aperitivo movement, ITALICUS has not only preserved a piece of Italian history but also created a modern classic. DECIMO, with its symbolic design and limited availability, encapsulates this achievement while pointing towards a future where tradition and innovation continue to coexist.
