Jagannath Gangaram Pednekar Jewellers has unveiled The Great Jewellery Festival, created by ADbhoot to establish a distinctive retail property. Backed by OOH, television and digital campaigns, the initiative positions JGP as a festive destination, blending grandeur and warmth to make jewellery shopping aspirational, welcoming and central to seasonal celebrations.

Jagannath Gangaram Pednekar Jewellers has announced The Great Jewellery Festival, a new retail initiative designed by creative agency ADbhoot to transform jewellery shopping into a festive occasion. Conceived as a property that customers can look forward to annually, the festival aims to make JGP the first brand consumers associate with jewellery purchases during the celebratory season.

At the heart of the campaign lies the concept of ‘Mahol Marketing’, described by ADbhoot as the art of creating an atmosphere that makes participation feel immediate and compelling. The festival’s name, visual identity and media presence combine to announce a celebration that audiences are invited to join. By giving the festival a distinctive character, the agency seeks to strengthen the association between seasonal excitement and JGP, ensuring the brand becomes a destination within the festive calendar.

The rollout is substantial, with large-format outdoor advertising and transit media carrying the festival’s identity into everyday life across urban and rural markets. This visibility is designed to make the celebration felt beyond the showroom, embedding JGP into the rhythm of the season. Television further extends the campaign’s reach, while digital channels bring the atmosphere onto personal screens. Consistent visual cues connect outdoor and digital experiences, while clear calls to action guide audiences towards JGP’s showrooms and online store.

Design plays a pivotal role in making the invitation attractive. The campaign’s illuminated identity, warm festive light and rich red-and-gold settings evoke grandeur and warmth, while jewellery remains central to the narrative. Showroom imagery anchors the celebration to JGP, ensuring that the sense of occasion translates directly into shopping interest. The overall effect is both aspirational and welcoming, positioning jewellery as integral to festive joy.

Vaibhav Pandit, Founder and Creative Director at ADbhoot, explained: “People remember a festival by how it makes them feel. That feeling has to carry the brand with it. For JGP, the mahol had to create excitement around jewellery shopping and make the invitation feel unmistakably theirs. Our role was to connect that emotional response with a clear reason to visit.”

Sanika Pednekar, Creative Director at JGP Jewellers, added: “Jewellery has always been part of how our customers celebrate. With The Great Jewellery Festival, we wanted to bring that joy into the shopping experience and make it feel welcoming and distinctly JGP. ADbhoot understood this thought and gave it an identity that captures the spirit beautifully. We see this as the beginning of a celebration our customers can look forward to, year after year.”

The longer-term ambition is to build The Great Jewellery Festival into a recurring retail property, allowing recognition created by each campaign to contribute to the next. Over time, a familiar festival identity can secure JGP a valuable place in consumers’ festive shopping plans, ensuring the brand remains synonymous with celebration and jewellery alike.
