Pidilite Industries has appointed Kashyap Gala as President, effective April 2026, according to his LinkedIn profile. Gala previously served as Senior Vice President from October 2022 to March 2026. An industry veteran, he brings over a decade of experience from Johnson & Johnson, marking a significant leadership transition at the adhesives giant.

Pidilite Industries, the adhesives and chemicals leader best known for its flagship brand Fevicol, has ushered in a new chapter in its leadership with the appointment of Kashyap Gala as President. Gala assumed charge in April this year, according to his LinkedIn profile, signalling a fresh phase in the company’s executive structure.

Gala’s elevation comes after a tenure as Senior Vice President, a role he held from October 2022 until March 2026. His progression within Pidilite reflects the company’s emphasis on nurturing leadership from within, while also drawing on the diverse expertise he accumulated during his earlier career.

Before joining Pidilite, Gala spent nearly 12 years at Johnson & Johnson, where he honed his skills across multiple facets of consumer healthcare and business operations. His long association with the multinational provided him with a strong grounding in global best practices, strategic execution, and market development — qualities that are expected to serve him well in his new role.

Industry observers note that Gala’s appointment comes at a time when Pidilite is navigating evolving consumer demands, sustainability imperatives, and digital transformation in the chemicals and adhesives sector. His blend of operational acumen and strategic foresight is likely to reinforce Pidilite’s market leadership while opening new avenues for growth.

The company has historically been recognised for its innovation-driven approach and strong brand equity in India and abroad. With Gala at the helm, Pidilite is expected to deepen its focus on customer-centricity, expand its global footprint, and strengthen its resilience in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Gala’s rise to the presidency underscores Pidilite’s commitment to continuity and stability in leadership, while also signalling confidence in executives who combine industry experience with adaptability. His journey from Johnson & Johnson to Pidilite, and now to the top executive role, reflects both personal achievement and the company’s broader strategy of aligning leadership with long-term vision.
