Think HQ has appointed Victoria Gehrig as Chief Operating Officer, adding one of Australia’s most experienced agency operations and M&A leaders to its national team. Returning from a global role at Dentsu, Gehrig will partner with Founder Jen Sharpe to scale Think HQ’s operations amid strong growth across Melbourne, Sydney, and national clients.

Independent agency Think HQ has appointed Victoria Gehrig as Chief Operating Officer, marking a significant addition to its national leadership team. Gehrig, one of Australia’s most seasoned agency operations and M&A integration leaders, returns from a six-year tenure in the United States, where she served as Global M&A Integration Director at dentsu.

At dentsu, she oversaw acquisition activity from due diligence through to integration across multi-market deals, cementing her reputation for operational rigour and strategic foresight. Before that, Gehrig spent more than a decade at Isobar Australia, ultimately becoming Group General Manager. There, she scaled the business from a 20-person digital agency to a 350-strong operation across four offices, earning multiple ANZ Digital Agency of the Year accolades.

In her new role, Gehrig will partner with Think HQ Founder and Managing Director Jen Sharpe to strengthen the agency’s operational foundation across Melbourne and Sydney. Sharpe described the appointment as a “no-brainer,” citing Gehrig’s rare combination of scaling expertise and global integration experience. “Vic has scaled agencies, integrated businesses and delivered at a global scale – and that’s exactly what we need for Think HQ’s continuing growth,” Sharpe said.

Gehrig emphasised her commitment to building capabilities that enable growth without compromising culture. “Jen has built Think HQ into something truly unique in the agency landscape, and I’m excited to help her scale at pace,” she noted.

The appointment comes during a period of expansion for Think HQ, which now numbers 120 staff nationally, has opened a Sydney office, and continues to grow its client base across government, corporate and for-purpose sectors. Gehrig’s arrival signals the agency’s intent to embed structure and ambition as it enters its next phase of growth.
