Marketing Bee has been appointed to support Del Monte’s Australian market activities, reinforcing its role as a strategic partner for Asian food brands expanding into Australia and New Zealand. The collaboration highlights Australia’s growing appetite for global flavours and strengthens the agency’s portfolio of international food clients, including Lion Brand and Haldiram’s.

Australian creative and marketing agency Marketing Bee has been appointed to support Del Monte’s activities in the Australian market, strengthening its position as a specialist partner for Asian food and FMCG brands expanding into Australia and New Zealand. The collaboration underscores the agency’s growing role as a strategic bridge between Asian food brands and Australian consumers, adding another globally recognised name to its portfolio.

The partnership is being coordinated across multiple markets, with stakeholders spanning Australia, Singapore and Japan. Del Monte’s Asian operations fall under the ownership of Kikkoman Corporation, one of Japan’s most respected food companies and a global leader in food and beverage products. This multinational alignment reflects the increasing interconnectedness of the food industry across Asia-Pacific and Australia.

Marketing Bee Founder and CEO Sharon Latour highlighted the appointment as emblematic of a broader shift in Australia’s food landscape, where consumers are embracing global flavours, international brands and multicultural dining experiences. “Australia’s food industry is becoming increasingly connected to Asia, not only through migration and travel, but through consumer demand itself. We are seeing more brands recognise the opportunity to build meaningful market presence in Australia while maintaining the authenticity that made them successful internationally,” Latour said.

The agency has built a reputation for helping international brands navigate the Australian market through localised creative strategy, content production, public relations, influencer engagement, television integrations and digital marketing. Over recent years, Marketing Bee has worked with a growing portfolio of Asian food manufacturers and distributors, delivering campaigns designed to connect global brands with Australian consumers while preserving cultural authenticity and product heritage.

The Del Monte appointment reinforces Marketing Bee’s strategic focus on the food, beverage and multicultural consumer sectors, further establishing it as a preferred partner for Asian brands seeking to expand their presence in Australia and New Zealand. The team recently met Del Monte’s client team at FHA 2026, where feedback was overwhelmingly positive, signalling strong alignment between the brand’s ambitions and the agency’s expertise.

Marketing Bee’s current roster includes Lion Brand, Kawan Foods, Haldiram’s, Prima and DJ&A, among others. The addition of Del Monte, a household name with deep heritage in global food markets, strengthens the agency’s credentials as a trusted partner for international food brands entering Australia. It also reflects the growing appetite among Australian consumers for diverse, authentic and globally recognised food experiences.

By combining its creative expertise with cultural sensitivity, Marketing Bee is positioning itself as a key player in shaping the future of Australia’s multicultural food industry. The appointment not only enhances Del Monte’s prospects in the region but also underscores the agency’s role in connecting international food brands with Australian consumers in ways that celebrate authenticity and heritage while driving growth.
