Anant Rastogi has moved from Zepto to Swish, taking on the role of Head of Brand at the Bengaluru-based 10-minute food delivery app. With over a decade of experience in consumer marketing and brand strategy, his appointment signals Swish’s intent to strengthen its brand presence in India’s competitive quick-commerce sector.

Swish, the Bengaluru-headquartered 10-minute food delivery platform, has announced the appointment of Anant Rastogi as its new Head of Brand. Rastogi, who previously served as Senior Director at Zepto, brings with him more than ten years of expertise in consumer marketing and brand strategy, a background that is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping Swish’s next phase of growth.

Rastogi’s move comes at a time when India’s quick-commerce industry is witnessing rapid expansion, with players vying to capture consumer loyalty through speed, convenience and differentiated brand experiences. His appointment underscores Swish’s ambition to carve out a distinct identity in this crowded marketplace, where brand positioning and consumer trust are as critical as operational efficiency.

At Zepto, Rastogi was instrumental in driving brand initiatives that helped the company establish itself as a household name in the ultra-fast delivery segment. His leadership in crafting consumer-centric campaigns and building resonance with urban audiences contributed to Zepto’s rise as one of the most recognised names in the sector. Prior to Zepto, Rastogi’s career has spanned diverse roles across marketing and strategy, equipping him with a nuanced understanding of consumer behaviour and the evolving dynamics of India’s retail and digital ecosystem.

Swish, which has been steadily scaling its operations in Bengaluru, is now looking to expand its footprint and strengthen its brand equity. Rastogi’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to accelerate this journey, with his experience expected to help the company sharpen its storytelling, enhance customer engagement, and build a brand that stands out in the highly competitive quick-commerce space.

Industry observers note that the quick-commerce sector is at an inflection point, with consumer expectations rising and differentiation becoming increasingly vital. In this context, Rastogi’s expertise in brand building and his track record of delivering impactful campaigns could prove decisive in positioning Swish as a challenger brand with strong consumer appeal.

Speaking about the appointment, Swish’s leadership expressed confidence that Rastogi’s arrival would bring fresh energy and vision to the company’s marketing efforts. His mandate will include not only strengthening Swish’s brand presence but also ensuring that its identity resonates with diverse consumer segments, from young professionals seeking convenience to families looking for reliable service.

As Swish continues to expand in India’s fast-growing quick-commerce market, Rastogi’s role will be central to shaping how the brand is perceived and experienced. His move from Zepto to Swish reflects both the dynamism of the sector and the growing importance of brand leadership in driving sustainable growth.
