Reliance Foundation’s Asian Games 2026 campaign, “Taqdeer Badalna Bachchon Ka Khel Hai”, created by TBWA\Lintas, celebrates the power of opportunity in shaping champions. Rooted in Nita Ambani’s vision, it highlights grassroots pathways, coaching and infrastructure that turn potential into podiums, reminding India that every medal begins with a child’s first chance.
Before medals are won, before podiums are climbed, before a nation knows their names, every champion begins with a single opportunity. Reliance Foundation’s latest campaign for the Asian Games 2026, titled “Taqdeer Badalna Bachchon Ka Khel Hai”, turns the spotlight on that crucial first step — the chance for a child to discover their potential.
Conceptualised by TBWA\Lintas, part of Omnicom Advertising India, the campaign is built on a simple but profound belief: every child deserves an opportunity. India has never lacked sporting talent. From dusty school playgrounds to bustling neighbourhood grounds, from streets to community spaces, the spark of ability shines everywhere. Yet talent alone cannot carry a child to glory. Without access to coaching, infrastructure, encouragement and structured pathways, potential risks fading before it can flourish.
The campaign captures a truth often overlooked: belief usually follows success, but opportunity must come before it. A child cannot become a champion until someone opens the door — to play, to train, to fail, to learn and to dream. That is where Reliance Foundation’s role in Indian sport becomes pivotal. Through its Sports for Development initiatives, the Foundation builds pathways from grassroots participation and talent identification to coaching, infrastructure and high-performance opportunities, with the ultimate aim of helping Indian athletes excel globally. It is a vision long championed by Mrs. Nita M. Ambani, who has consistently emphasised the need to strengthen India’s sporting ecosystem.
The Asian Games provide a powerful stage for this message. As Indian athletes compete, their journeys remind us that each medal-winner was once a child waiting for someone to believe in them. The campaign celebrates not just the moment of victory but the moments that came before: the first coach, the first training ground, the first person who believed, and the first step towards a larger dream.
Sarvesh Raikar, President – Creative, TBWA\Lintas, reflected on the campaign’s inspiration: “It has been truly humbling to learn about the journeys of our champions. They are proof that India is unstoppable. We can produce world-class athletes in every corner of the country, if only we give them an opportunity. If India is to rank among the top five at the Olympics, the key lies in the hands of these kids today. When we give them an opportunity, we give our nation a chance to change its fate on the biggest sporting stages. We hope this campaign helps the country see sports in a new light. Not just as a game, but as a means to build a bright future for our children. It’s a massive behavioural change, and we are privileged to partner with Reliance Foundation in this mission.”
In essence, the campaign is not about medals alone. It is about the unseen beginnings, the fragile first steps, and the belief that opportunity is the seed from which champions grow. Reliance Foundation’s message is clear: before glory, there must be a chance. And when that chance is given, India’s destiny on the world’s sporting stage can be transformed.
