Dentsu Malaysia names Bala Pomaleh as CEO of Media

Dentsu Malaysia has announced the appointment of Bala Pomaleh as CEO, Media, marking his return to the company after nearly a decade at IPG Mediabrands. In his new role, Pomaleh will be responsible for driving innovation, growth, and strategic leadership across Dentsu Malaysia’s media business, further strengthening its market position.

Pomaleh’s appointment signals a homecoming to dentsu, where he previously spent four years leading Carat Malaysia, a key agency within dentsu’s media network. His tenure at Carat was marked by significant growth and a reputation for delivering cutting-edge media strategies.

With over two decades of experience in the media and advertising industry, Pomaleh has built an impressive track record in media planning, digital transformation, and client engagement. During his time at IPG Mediabrands, he played a pivotal role in driving business growth, overseeing large-scale media operations, and shaping the agency’s success in the Malaysian market.

As he steps into his new role at dentsu Malaysia, Pomaleh is expected to bring fresh perspectives, leveraging his deep industry expertise to enhance dentsu’s media capabilities and foster stronger partnerships with brands. His return comes at a crucial time as the agency continues to expand its offerings in the rapidly evolving media landscape.
