The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines has announced DigiCon 2026, themed “Interoperability: Welcome to the Age of Collaboration”. Marking its 11th year, the conference returns to the Manila Marriott Hotel on 15–16 October, calling on brands, technologists and creatives to break silos and build shared progress.

The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) has unveiled DigiCon 2026, setting the stage for what it describes as its most inclusive and ambitious edition to date. Carrying the theme “Interoperability: Welcome to the Age of Collaboration”, the conference marks its 11th year as the country’s flagship gathering for innovators, marketers and technology leaders.

DigiCon will return to the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel on 15–16 October, promising a programme that is bigger, louder and more impactful than any previous instalment. Yet beyond scale, the organisers insist that the real evolution lies in mindset.

“We are entering a new era, an age where progress is powered by coming together,” said Raymund Sison, Co-Chair of DigiCon 2026. “The future will not be built in silos. It will not belong to those who work alone. It will be shaped by connections, synergies, and ecosystems of collaboration where ideas, technologies, and communities converge to create impact far greater than the sum of their parts.”

In positioning interoperability as more than a technical term, DigiCon 2026 reframes it as an industry-wide mandate. In a landscape increasingly fragmented by platforms, disciplines and competing priorities, the conference argues that meaningful progress happens in the spaces between: between people and technology, creators and AI, government and industry, local enterprises and global networks.

For Shayne Madamba, Co-Chair of DigiCon 2026, the theme reflects a natural progression for an event that has consistently looked ahead. “DigiCon has always been about what’s next,” she said. “In 2026, what’s next is working together across disciplines, across industries, and across technology.”

The organisers see interoperability as both a provocation and an invitation. No brand, platform or industry can thrive in isolation, they argue, particularly as artificial intelligence reshapes workflows and consumer expectations evolve at speed. Instead, collaboration is positioned as the competitive advantage of the next decade.

DigiCon 2026 will also introduce its full 2026 Committee, signalling a renewed commitment to diversity of expertise and perspective. By convening agencies, brands, platforms, start-ups, policymakers and creators under one roof, DMAP aims to foster dialogue that extends beyond keynote stages and into sustained partnerships.

Miko David, President of DMAP, underscored the broader ambition behind the event. “I’m excited about DigiCon 2026 because our future isn’t just about better technology, it’s about better connections,” he said. “When AI, platforms, agencies, brands, and creators work together, innovation scales. That is what DMAP exists to do: connect the ecosystem and turn collaboration into meaningful progress for the industry.”

As the Philippine digital economy continues to mature, DigiCon 2026 positions itself not merely as a conference, but as a convening force for a sector in transition. In championing interoperability, it signals that the next chapter of digital marketing will be defined less by individual breakthroughs and more by shared endeavour.
