DUNKIN’ SERVES UP WEDDING SEASON WITH VERA WANG COLLABORATION

Dunkin’ is celebrating wedding season with Wedding Cake Munchkins launching on 20 March, National Proposal Day. Customers can win a Vera Wang gown by proposing with Dunkin’s “I Dough” box. The collaboration includes a bridal experience and “Something Brewed” merchandise, blending sweet treats with luxury fashion for milestone celebrations.

Dunkin’ is stepping into wedding season with a sweet twist, unveiling its limited-time Wedding Cake Munchkins Donut Hole Treats on 20 March. The launch date is no coincidence—it coincides with National Proposal Day and the first day of spring, marking the unofficial start of wedding festivities.

The new offering features glazed blueberry cake donut holes topped with wedding cake-flavoured sprinkles, designed to capture the celebratory spirit of the season. On the launch day alone, Dunkin’ will also distribute exclusive “I Dough” ring boxes. Each box, containing a Wedding Cake Munchkin, will be given free to customers purchasing 25- or 50-count Munchkins, while supplies last.

But the brand is going beyond novelty packaging. Dunkin’ has partnered with legendary bridal designer Vera Wang to elevate the campaign. Customers who receive the “I Dough” box are encouraged to use it in a proposal—whether for marriage, a bridesmaid invitation, vow renewal, or another creative gesture. Entrants can post their proposal videos on Instagram or TikTok until 3 April.

The winner, chosen jointly by Dunkin’ and Wang—who has been named “Chief Proposal Officer”—will receive not only a gown but an exclusive bridal experience at Vera Wang’s flagship salon in New York City or Beverly Hills. There, they will select their dress, which Wang’s team will personalise by embroidering the winner’s favourite Dunkin’ order inside the gown, ensuring they carry “something brewed” on their big day. With Wang’s gowns ranging from £1,200 to well over £12,000, the prize represents a significant luxury.

The collaboration extends into merchandise with the “Something Brewed” collection, now available on DunkinRunsonMerch.com. The line includes Vera Wang x Dunkin’ limited-edition pieces such as a robe priced at £38 and a glass tumbler at £18. Additional apparel and accessories—sweatshirts, sweatpants, and pyjama sets—are designed for wedding mornings, bachelorette weekends, and beyond, blending bridal elegance with Dunkin’s playful branding.

By tying together proposals, bridal fashion, and sweet treats, Dunkin’ is positioning itself as more than a coffee and doughnut chain—it is becoming part of life’s milestone celebrations. The campaign cleverly taps into cultural rituals, blending humour and romance with a dash of indulgence. For couples and bridal parties, it offers a chance to make memories with a sprinkle of Dunkin’s signature charm.
