Meha Parekh has been named head of marketing and communications at Samsonite India, overseeing Samsonite, American Tourister and Kamiliant. With over seven years at Samsonite and prior roles at Kraft Heinz, Unilever, Eureka Forbes and Lifestyle International, she brings wide-ranging brand expertise to strengthen the company’s portfolio in India’s travel market.

Meha Parekh has been appointed head of marketing and communications at Samsonite India, expanding her remit across Samsonite, American Tourister and Kamiliant. She announced the move on LinkedIn. Parekh has been with Samsonite for over seven years, most recently serving as brand head for Samsonite and Kamiliant.

Her career spans diverse consumer categories, beginning with roles at Eureka Forbes and Lifestyle International (Max Retail Division). She later joined Unilever, where she spent more than four years as assistant brand manager in the laundry category. Following a brief stint at Kraft Heinz as brand manager for Complan, Parekh moved to Samsonite, where she has played a pivotal role in shaping brand strategy and communication.

At Samsonite, she has overseen campaigns that strengthened the company’s premium positioning while also driving relevance for Kamiliant in India’s competitive luggage market. Her expanded mandate now places her at the helm of marketing and communications across three of the group’s most recognised brands, reflecting both her long-standing contribution and the company’s confidence in her leadership.

Parekh’s appointment underscores Samsonite India’s focus on integrated brand stewardship and consumer engagement across its portfolio. With her experience spanning FMCG, retail, and lifestyle categories, she brings a blend of strategic insight and hands-on brand management that is expected to further consolidate Samsonite’s presence in India’s travel and lifestyle segment.
