Veteran advertising leader Mukund Olety embarks on an exciting new chapter, marking a significant personal and professional milestone. Following a remarkable stint as Chief Creative Officer at VML India, Olety steps into a prestigious new role within WPP Creative, where he will lead the creative vision for The Coca-Cola Company in Europe — a move he calls “truly a dream role.”

Looking back on his journey at VML, Olety expressed deep gratitude for the transformative experiences — beginning with a Cannes Lions Grand Prix win and enriched by standout projects and meaningful collaborations. He also extended heartfelt appreciation to the VML India team and leadership for their unwavering support throughout his tenure.

“Great work happens only with great clients,” Olety emphasized, highlighting his collaboration with The Coca-Cola Company’s India team, including Sumeli Chatterjee, Greishma Singh, Shantanu Gangane, and Vatsala M., and expressing excitement to continue this partnership with the Coca-Cola Europe team. His message concluded with a note of gratitude to mentors and champions for their invaluable guidance.

Mukund Olety’s experience spans over 15 years with leading agencies, including roles as Group Creative Director at BBDO Worldwide and Creative Director positions at Ogilvy and Leo Burnett across global markets like India, China, and Malaysia. His creative leadership has driven iconic campaigns for brands such as Mars Wrigley, McDonald’s, Carlsberg, and ITC.

As he embarks on his new journey with WPP and Coca-Cola Europe, Olety promises “new beginnings, brave & boundless ideas, and creating work that inspires.”
