Tropicana has unveiled a vibrant new CG animated spot, Give Life Some Juice, created with FIG and directed by Dorian & Daniel through Reset, with animation by Untold Studios. Featuring a sloth transformed by orange juice, the ambitious film builds an entire rainforest world from scratch.
Tropicana has taken a bold creative leap with its latest campaign, Give Life Some Juice, a fully CG animated film that brings a sleepy sloth to life in a lush rainforest. Conceived in collaboration with FIG and directed by Dorian & Daniel through Reset, the spot was animated by Untold Studios and represents one of the studio’s most ambitious undertakings to date.
The film opens with a languid sloth reaching for a bottle of Tropicana orange juice. One sip later, he is infused with energy, swinging from branches and strutting through the dense greenery with newfound swagger. His transformation is observed by other jungle creatures, who watch in awe as the sloth embodies the campaign’s promise of zest and vitality.
While playful in tone, the production demanded extraordinary technical precision. Every environment, character and effect was built entirely from the ground up, with Untold Studios crafting a rainforest world that balances heightened joy with natural realism. The result is a film that feels both fantastical and grounded, inviting audiences into a jungle that is as believable as it is exuberant.
Adam Droy, Creative Director at Untold Studios, explained the philosophy behind the project: “We treated the project as the foundation of a world rather than a single campaign. The challenge was creating something heightened and joyful while still feeling grounded in natural behaviour and believable environments. Every creative decision was designed to support that balance.”
The film’s visual richness is matched by its narrative simplicity. By centring the story on a sloth—a creature synonymous with slowness—the campaign cleverly dramatises the energising effect of Tropicana juice. The rainforest setting, rendered in dazzling colour and detail, amplifies the sense of vitality, while the sloth’s swaggering journey embodies the brand’s invitation to “give life some juice.”
For Tropicana, the campaign underscores its positioning as a brand that injects joy and energy into everyday life. For Untold Studios, it marks a milestone in CG animation, showcasing the studio’s ability to build immersive worlds that resonate emotionally while dazzling visually.
