PepsiCo Beverages US has partnered with FIFCO USA to introduce bubly Wine Refreshers, a premium sparkling rosé wine beverage. Available in blackberry lemon and strawberry peach flavours, the 100-calorie canned drink blends fruity taste with light refreshment, marking a new innovation for bubly fans and expanding PepsiCo’s beverage portfolio.

PepsiCo Beverages US has unveiled a new addition to its beverage innovation pipeline with the launch of bubly Wine Refreshers, a premium sparkling rosé wine drink developed in collaboration with FIFCO USA.

The new beverage blends sparkling water refreshment with dry rosé wine, creating a light, fruit-forward drink aimed at consumers seeking flavourful yet lower-calorie alcoholic options. Available in blackberry lemon and strawberry peach varieties, the wine refreshers are packaged in cans and contain just 100 calories per serving.

The launch represents a notable expansion for bubly, the sparkling water brand known for its playful identity and fruit-inspired flavours. By introducing a wine-based offering, PepsiCo is extending the brand into the growing ready-to-drink alcohol segment, where demand for lighter and flavourful beverages continues to rise.

Mark Kirkham, Chief Marketing Officer at PepsiCo Beverages US, highlighted the excitement surrounding the product, noting that the new refreshers bring together the familiar bubbly character of the brand with a premium rosé twist. The drinks are designed to deliver a fruity, refreshing taste while maintaining the approachable and easy-drinking qualities that bubly fans enjoy.

The collaboration with FIFCO USA played a key role in bringing the concept to life. Known for its expertise in beverage innovation and alcoholic drink production, FIFCO USA worked alongside PepsiCo’s teams to translate the idea into a ready-to-drink format that balances flavour, carbonation and wine character.

According to Kirkham, the project reflects a significant effort from teams across PepsiCo, moving the concept from early development through to launch. He expressed appreciation to the partners involved and to the PepsiCo colleagues who helped transform the idea into a finished product.

With its combination of sparkling water, dry rosé and bright fruit flavours, bubly Wine Refreshers are positioned as a versatile drink suited to a variety of social occasions. The launch underscores PepsiCo’s broader strategy of exploring new beverage formats and partnerships as consumer preferences continue to evolve toward lighter, flavour-driven experiences.

As competition intensifies within the ready-to-drink category, the introduction of bubly Wine Refreshers signals PepsiCo’s intent to innovate within both the sparkling water and alcoholic beverage spaces, offering consumers new ways to enjoy familiar brands in emerging formats.
