Kareena Kapoor Khan has invested in Fizzy Goblet, becoming co-owner after four years as brand ambassador. Founded by Laksheeta Govil in 2013, the handcrafted footwear brand has achieved ₹60 crore in annual revenue. Backed by Accel, it plans portfolio expansion and international growth, aligning Kapoor Khan’s equity with its strategic ambitions.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has deepened her association with Fizzy Goblet, the handcrafted footwear brand, by investing in the company and becoming a strategic co-owner. The move marks a significant evolution from her role as brand ambassador, a position she has held for four years, to one of long-term equity and creative involvement.

Founded in 2013 by entrepreneur Laksheeta Govil, Fizzy Goblet has carved out a distinctive niche in India’s competitive footwear market. The brand has built its success on a fully owned direct-to-consumer model, avoiding reliance on online marketplaces and instead focusing on its own channels. This approach has enabled it to achieve an annual revenue run rate of ₹60 crore, supported by 16 company-operated stores across the country.

The partnership with Kapoor Khan represents more than a financial transaction. It signals a strategic alignment between the actor’s cultural influence and the brand’s ambitions. Kapoor Khan’s transition into co-ownership underscores her commitment to shaping the brand’s future, leveraging her celebrity reach to strengthen consumer trust and engagement. Her involvement is expected to extend beyond promotional campaigns, encompassing creative input into product design and broader brand-building initiatives.

Fizzy Goblet’s growth trajectory has been bolstered by investment from Accel, a global venture capital firm known for backing high-growth consumer brands. With this support, the company is preparing to expand its portfolio beyond footwear into accessories, aiming to capture a larger share of the lifestyle market. International expansion is also on the horizon, with plans to target diaspora markets where handcrafted Indian design resonates strongly with consumers seeking a blend of tradition and modernity.

Kapoor Khan’s co-ownership comes at a time when celebrity partnerships in the D2C space are increasingly shifting from endorsement to equity. This trend reflects a broader industry movement where cultural figures are not only lending their image but also investing in and shaping the businesses they represent. For Fizzy Goblet, the collaboration offers a powerful combination of creative credibility and commercial ambition, positioning the brand to accelerate its growth both domestically and internationally.

As the footwear label prepares for its next phase, Kapoor Khan’s involvement is expected to amplify its visibility and reinforce its identity as a contemporary yet culturally rooted brand. The partnership highlights the evolving dynamics of celebrity influence in consumer markets, where authenticity and long-term commitment are becoming as valuable as star power itself.
