Tipsy Tabby has launched fruit wine seltzers in India, entering the ready-to-drink (RTD) segment with a lighter, fruit-forward alternative. Available in Guava, Lime and Pineapple variants, the brand offers a guilt-free option at 5% ABV and 40 calories, targeting mindful drinkers seeking refreshing social beverages.

Tipsy Tabby has made its debut in India’s evolving RTD market with the introduction of fruit wine seltzers, a category designed to appeal to consumers increasingly conscious of their drinking choices. Crafted with real fruit, each bottle contains 5 per cent alcohol by volume and just 40 calories, positioning the brand as a low-calorie option that balances flavour with lifestyle considerations.

The launch is built around the tagline “Kholo, Piyo, Mazze Karo… Guilt Free!”, reflecting the brand’s ambition to deliver easy-drinking beverages suited to casual social occasions. From brunches and game nights to relaxed evenings with friends, Tipsy Tabby aims to provide a refreshing alternative to conventional alcoholic drinks. The initial range features Guava, Lime and Pineapple variants, currently available across select retail outlets in Mumbai.

Founded by a family with deep roots in organic farming, Tipsy Tabby combines agricultural expertise with beverage innovation. The venture was conceived after exploring the untapped potential of fruit-based wines, resulting in a drink that blends the crispness of sparkling wine with the light, refreshing character of a seltzer. This approach underscores the brand’s commitment to creating products that resonate with modern consumers while drawing on authentic, natural ingredients.

Commenting on the launch, Akshay Kasbekar, Partner at Tipsy Tabby, said, “We created Tipsy Tabby with a simple vision: to make drinking lighter, more enjoyable, and better suited to today’s lifestyle. Consumers are becoming increasingly conscious of what they eat and drink, and we wanted to offer something that reflects that shift without compromising on flavour or the overall experience.”

Industry observers note that the RTD category in India is expanding rapidly, driven by younger consumers who value convenience, variety and moderation. Tipsy Tabby’s entry into the fruit wine seltzer space highlights the growing appetite for innovative formats that align with mindful drinking trends. By combining flavour, functionality and a guilt-free proposition, the brand is positioning itself to capture the attention of urban audiences seeking new ways to enjoy social drinking.

As the brand begins its journey in Mumbai, Tipsy Tabby is expected to broaden awareness of fruit wine seltzers in India, offering a distinctive choice for consumers who want to enjoy alcohol in a lighter, more balanced form.
