WHERE COLOUR FINDS ITS FLOW: GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE’S LIVING PALETTE

Greater Fort Lauderdale has unveiled a destination story told through Pantone’s palette, where water sets the rhythm and colour shapes the mood. From Radiant Sunrise over the Atlantic to LauderTeal waterways and Golden Shore sunsets, the city emerges as a vibrant, connected place where exploration feels effortless and alive.

There are destinations you visit, and there are destinations that move you. Greater Fort Lauderdale belongs firmly to the latter, a place where water defines the rhythm of life and colour becomes the language of memory. Partnering with Pantone, the city has been reimagined as a living palette, each moment unfolding in hues that capture its essence.

The day begins with PANTONE Radiant Sunrise, coral warmth spilling across the Atlantic as walkers trace the shoreline of 24 miles of golden beaches. Paddleboarders drift along the Intracoastal, toes touch the water’s edge, and the morning feels suspended in possibility. As the sun climbs, PANTONE Morning Glow settles across cafés and patios, Las Olas Boulevard wakes to espresso machines and galleries, and the New River flows gently through the city.

By midday, the palette shifts to blues. PANTONE Nautical Breeze stretches wide above cruise ships leaving Port Everglades, while the Intracoastal deepens into PANTONE LauderTeal, reflecting yachts and waterfront homes. Sandbars fill with anchored boats, music drifts across the water, and closer to shore, waves scatter ribbons of PANTONE Seafoam and Ocean Mist. It is here that Fort Lauderdale reveals its true nature—relaxed, connected, effortlessly alive.

Exploration extends beyond the beach. Inland waterways lead to mangrove forests at West Lake Park, airboats skim the Everglades, and cyclists wind through shaded paths at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. The Thrive Arts District offers murals and galleries, while Las Olas blends boutiques, wine bars, and coastal creativity.

As evening arrives, PANTONE Sandbar and Golden Shore settle across the shoreline. Hollywood Beach Broadwalk fills with music and conversation, rooftop terraces glow along Las Olas, and reflections shimmer across the water like liquid neon. The energy is vibrant yet unhurried, confident in its own pace.

What makes Greater Fort Lauderdale unforgettable is not only its scenery but the way it reconnects people with freedom, joy, and calm. Each Pantone shade captures a piece of that experience—the warmth of sunlight, the movement of water, the grounding of nature, and the spontaneous energy of community. Here, colour is more than design; it is memory, expression, and the feeling of being lighter, freer, more alive.
