Clays Luxury Media has launched in New Delhi with a mission to become the definitive voice of luxury publishing across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Led by veteran publisher Simon Clays, the company brings decades of editorial expertise and a strong track record to deliver bespoke media and brand experiences.
Clays Luxury Media has officially launched today, positioning itself as a media house dedicated entirely to the world of luxury. Operating under the tagline “Create. Inspire. Elevate.,” the company will deliver customer publishing and white label products, consumer magazines, coffee-table books, digital media and bespoke brand events. Its client focus spans automotive, high jewellery, fashion, watches, travel and hospitality, aviation, art and architecture, and real estate, signalling an ambition to cover the full spectrum of luxury experiences.
The company’s vision is to become the definitive creative and intellectual voice of luxury across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, shaping how discerning audiences encounter and engage with the finest offerings from the region. Its mission is rooted in practical execution: crafting stories, curating experiences and building platforms with editorial excellence, strategic intelligence and cultural depth. The aim is to deliver what luxury brands expect but rarely receive in one integrated package.
Clays Luxury Media enters the market with a formidable track record. The numbers behind the launch speak of readiness rather than aspiration alone: over 30 years of editorial craft, more than 120 luxury brand partnerships, activation in 40-plus international markets and over 60 product launches. This foundation is being positioned as the case for why the company should become the ‘go-to’ customer magazine and white label media house for India and South Asia, with plans to expand its footprint further across the region.
The launch is led by Managing Director Simon Clays, a British-born publishing veteran with more than 35 years in consumer and customer publishing. His career has spanned Asia, India, Europe and the Americas, with roles that read like a map of luxury publishing across the region. As Editorial Director at Media Transasia India, he oversaw a portfolio of 16 major international consumer titles. He was International Manager for Dennis Publishing’s MAXIM during its expansion into more than 40 countries, and more recently served as Publishing Director and Director of Print Operations & Strategy at BurdaLuxury. Earlier in his career, he was relaunch editor of Stuff, the UK’s top-selling gadget and high-end technology magazine.
Speaking at the launch in New Delhi, Clays emphasised the city’s role in shaping the next chapter of global luxury. “We are launching in New Delhi because this is where the next chapter of global luxury is being written, and we intend to be the ones writing it,” he said. Reflecting on his career, Clays added: “I’ve spent the better part of my career watching India’s luxury audience grow more sophisticated, more global and more demanding of the media it consumes – and, frankly, watched the region be under-served by it. Clays Luxury Media is the house I’ve wanted to build for years: one where thirty-five years of editorial standards learned on the world’s best consumer titles are applied, without compromise, to every customer magazine, coffee-table book and brand experience we create.”
With its combination of editorial pedigree, strategic vision and regional focus, Clays Luxury Media is positioning itself as a new creative force in luxury publishing, aiming to redefine how brands and audiences connect across India and beyond.
