Australian ad-tech startup Cuttable has launched in the U.S. with a bold offer of 3.1 billion free video ads for eCommerce brands ahead of Black Friday. Backed by $10 million in seed funding, Cuttable uses AI to instantly create Meta ads and marked its debut with a guerrilla campaign in Los Angeles.

Australian ad-tech innovator Cuttable has made a bold entrance into the United States, announcing what it calls “the biggest giveaway in advertising history” — offering 3.1 billion free video ads to U.S. eCommerce brands ahead of the much-anticipated Black Friday shopping season.

The Melbourne-born startup, which positions itself as the world’s first fully-automated AI creative agency, promises to transform how digital ads are created and delivered. With just brand assets, Cuttable’s platform uses artificial intelligence to generate high-performance video ads for Meta’s platforms — including Facebook and Instagram — in a matter of minutes.

Backed by $10 million (AUD) in seed funding led by Square Peg and Rampersand, Cuttable’s U.S. launch marks a significant milestone in the evolution of automated ad creation. By combining creative intelligence with AI automation, the company aims to democratize access to professional-quality advertising, particularly for small and medium-sized eCommerce businesses looking to stand out in the crowded digital marketplace.

To celebrate the U.S. debut, Cuttable went all out with an Aussie-style guerrilla marketing campaign on the streets of Los Angeles, developed and produced by Sunday Gravy, the independent creative agency responsible for Cuttable’s global creative platform. The campaign brought a distinctly Australian sense of humour and energy to LA’s ad scene, highlighting the brand’s innovative spirit and its disruptive approach to digital advertising.

According to the company, the 3.1 billion free video ads are designed to give U.S. eCommerce brands a head start during the competitive holiday period. By removing the traditional cost and time barriers associated with ad production, Cuttable hopes to empower businesses to reach audiences more effectively with personalized, high-performing creative content.

Cuttable’s CEO described the initiative as “a way to show what’s possible when creativity meets automation.” The company’s mission, he said, is to “make great advertising accessible to everyone — not just brands with big budgets.”

Industry observers are watching closely as Cuttable enters one of the world’s largest advertising markets with such a bold promise. As AI continues to reshape the marketing landscape, the startup’s unique blend of automated creativity, scalability, and accessibility could position it as a major player in the future of ad-tech.

With the Black Friday rush just around the corner, U.S. brands now have the chance to experience what Cuttable claims is the next big leap in advertising — AI-powered creativity at unprecedented scale.
