Royal Jordanian’s tourism platform, ExploRJordan, has launched JorDONE, its first global destination campaign aimed at reshaping international perceptions of Jordan. Developed with Adpro& Group, the initiative highlights the Kingdom’s diversity, blending heritage, adventure, culture and modernity through a series of films targeting audiences across key global markets.
Royal Jordanian’s tourism platform, ExploRJordan, has launched its first global destination campaign, JorDONE, a bold international effort designed to broaden perceptions of Jordan and position the Kingdom as one of the world’s most diverse travel destinations.
Created in partnership with Adpro& Group, the campaign moves beyond the country’s best-known landmarks to showcase a more contemporary, authentic and surprising side of Jordan. At its heart is a simple but powerful proposition: whatever travellers are looking to experience, they can get it done in Jordan.
The campaign arrives as Royal Jordanian expands its role beyond aviation, operating as a tour operator focused on driving inbound tourism and increasing global awareness of its home market. Through three flagship films, JorDONE highlights the remarkable range of experiences available within the country, from ancient wonders and dramatic landscapes to vibrant nightlife, wellness escapes and modern cultural offerings.
The creative concept stems from a play on the country’s name, transforming Jordan into “JorDONE”. The recurring use of “Done.” becomes a signature device throughout the campaign, framing every experience as another bucket-list achievement completed. By positioning Jordan as a destination where travellers can tick off multiple once-in-a-lifetime experiences in a single trip, the campaign aims to make the country’s diversity instantly memorable.
Across the films, viewers are taken on a journey through starkly contrasting environments and experiences. Production crews travelled over eight intensive days across the Kingdom, filming in locations that illustrate Jordan’s unique variety. Scenes move from the vineyards and forests of Ajloun to the bustling streets and evening energy of Amman, before heading to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. The campaign then ventures south to Wadi Rum, the desert landscape frequently used as a stand-in for Mars in Hollywood productions, as well as Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The journey concludes in Aqaba, where beaches, diving opportunities and a UNESCO-designated marine reserve reveal yet another side of the country.
Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Jordanian Airlines, said Jordan’s greatest strength lies in its contrasts. He described the destination as a place where “desert meets sea, wellness meets nightlife, adventure meets culture”, allowing visitors to experience an extraordinary amount in a relatively short period of time.
Razan Al-Qaisi, Director of Marketing Communication, Digital and eCommerce at Royal Jordanian Airlines, said the objective was to create something uniquely Jordanian rather than another tourism campaign that could belong to any destination. She recalled the moment the concept was presented, saying the team immediately recognised the potential of JorDONE as a long-term platform capable of building recognition and equity for the country.
For Adpro& Group, simplicity was key. Hatem Soliman, Creative Director for Strategy, said the challenge was avoiding the temptation to communicate everything at once. “JorDONE gave us” a unifying idea capable of bringing together Jordan’s many attractions, he said.
The campaign will roll out globally from November across markets including the UK, United States, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, India, Canada, the Netherlands, the Gulf region and Switzerland. Managed by Adpro& OMD Jordan, it will run across television, digital, social, outdoor and print channels, marking a significant new chapter in Jordan’s efforts to attract international visitors and redefine how the world sees the Kingdom.
