DIAGEO INDIA APPOINTS CHINMAY SHARMA AS CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Diageo India has appointed Chinmay Sharma as Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Committee member. With over two decades of global HR experience at GSK, Philip Morris International and Procter & Gamble, Sharma brings expertise in talent strategy, organisational transformation and capability building to strengthen Diageo’s leadership and people agenda.

Diageo has announced the appointment of Chinmay Sharma as Chief Human Resources Officer for Diageo India and a member of the company’s Executive Committee. Sharma brings over 20 years of global HR experience across leading multinationals, including GSK, Philip Morris International and Procter & Gamble.  

In a LinkedIn post, Diageo welcomed Sharma, highlighting his expertise in talent strategy, organisational transformation and capability building. His career spans senior roles across diverse geographies, where he has led initiatives to strengthen workforce capabilities and drive cultural change.  

The appointment underscores Diageo India’s focus on strengthening its leadership team with seasoned professionals who can shape organisational growth and transformation.
