Reliance General Insurance Introduces ‘Pink Star’ Safety Rating for Women Travelers

A new campaign sheds light on a crucial yet often overlooked aspect of travel—safety. While travel opens doors to independence and adventure, a lingering question remains for many women: “Is it safe to travel there?” Despite this concern, most travel platforms prioritize showcasing attractions over providing safety insights.

To bridge this gap, Reliance General Insurance has introduced the Pink Star Safety Rating, a groundbreaking initiative designed to offer data-driven safety insights for travelers. Powered by AI, the system evaluates key factors such as crime rates, access to emergency services, and public infrastructure to generate real-time safety ratings for various destinations. By equipping women with critical safety information, the Pink Star Safety Rating empowers them to make informed travel choices with greater confidence.

Adding to the campaign’s reach and impact, Kamiya Jani, founder of Curly Tales and a prominent travel content creator, serves as the face of the initiative. Her involvement amplifies the message, emphasizing that while adventure awaits, safety should always come first.

“Safety is more than a basic need – it’s the foundation of true freedom. With The Pink Star Safety Rating, we are proactively addressing a global concern, ensuring every woman can prepare for her travels and feel secure at every step,” said Rakesh Jain, CEO of Reliance General Insurance.

“Just like checking vehicle or hotel ratings has become second nature, we envision safety ratings becoming an integral part of every woman’s travel planning. This initiative is truly a testament to our commitment to provide meaningful & customer-centric solutions.”

“Cars have safety ratings so that you can make a wiser choice,” added Yash Kulshresth, Co-Founder & CCO, ^atom network.

“Similarly, The Pink Star Rating is the world’s first safety rating system for travellers to make a wiser choice. The world can’t be fixed in a day, but we all can be more cautious about travelling smartly and safely. We are proud to have such brave clients and Kamiya to elevate this idea and make it a global destination before any destination.”
