Tilaknagar Industries has posted net revenue exceeding Rs 1,000 crore for a second consecutive quarter, helping first-half FY27 revenue reach Rs 2,059 crore. The strong performance was driven by higher secondary sales, market share gains for Imperial Blue Whisky and stabilising operations in states transitioning from TSMA arrangements.

Tilaknagar Industries Ltd. has continued its strong growth trajectory, reporting net revenue of more than Rs 1,000 crore for the second consecutive quarter and delivering a sharp rise in first-half earnings as the company strengthened its position in India’s alcoholic beverages market.

For the first six months of FY27, the company reported net revenue of Rs 2,059 crore, representing a remarkable 180 per cent increase year-on-year after adjusting for subsidy. The performance underscores the momentum the company has built across key markets while navigating operational transitions in several states.

A major contributor to the robust results was sustained growth in secondary sales, indicating healthy demand and offtake at the retail level. Strong consumer demand has enabled the company to improve its market penetration and reinforce its presence in competitive segments of the spirits industry.

The company also benefited from market share gains recorded by its flagship brand, Imperial Blue Whisky. The brand’s improved performance helped strengthen Tilaknagar Industries’ overall portfolio and supported revenue growth during the period. Market share expansion in the whisky category is particularly significant given the highly competitive nature of the segment, where established brands and aggressive marketing strategies often determine success.

Another key factor behind the company’s performance was the stabilisation of operations in states transitioning out of the Transition Services & Manufacturing Agreement (TSMA) framework. Such transitions can often create short-term operational challenges, including supply chain adjustments and production realignments. However, Tilaknagar Industries said the stabilisation process in these markets contributed positively to business performance during the reporting period.

Crossing the Rs 1,000 crore net revenue mark for a second straight quarter highlights the company’s ability to sustain growth rather than rely on a one-off surge. The milestone also reflects the effectiveness of its sales and distribution strategy, alongside efforts to strengthen brand visibility and distribution reach.

The strong first-half performance places Tilaknagar Industries in a favourable position for the remainder of FY27. Industry observers note that continued growth in secondary sales and further gains for Imperial Blue Whisky could support the company’s efforts to consolidate its standing in key markets.

At the same time, the successful management of states exiting TSMA arrangements may provide a more stable operational base and create opportunities for improved efficiencies. Such developments are expected to be important as the company pursues long-term expansion and seeks to capitalise on growing consumer demand for branded alcoholic beverages.

With revenue growth accelerating and operational challenges easing, Tilaknagar Industries appears well placed to build on its recent momentum. The latest results underline both the resilience of its core brands and the company’s ability to execute strategic transitions while maintaining strong business performance.
